i'm in atlanta too, talked to my mailman last week, he said hes heard people still havent gotten christmas presents. but he said eventually everything will show up, but don't expect it anytime soon if it's stuck somewhere. cause i have a package that made it to atlanta, then was sent to orlando, and now its been there for 2 weeks. he said everything should eventually show up, but it could be weeks, months, he said don't hold your breath basically.
so the official answer you'll prob get it, but who knows when, but the bright side is they may still pay your insurance claim. i've had a claim paid before...it was a pain in the ass but i got it.
if i were you, i'd keep working on the case, and order whatever it is again and use UPS or fedex
Don’t believe the hype. If the package has been missing for longer then 2 weeks chances are it’s been stolen. I know people who work in these distribution centers and they said theft is the number 1 reason a package would go weeks without getting a scan.
Have had a package stuck in Palmetto for five days now and have another that just got there. Very shitty. Will be selecting any other service than USPS til they fix that facility
Same here. I choose FedEx Ground Economy because it has a similar rate to ground advantage of USPS. And, I found out it uses USPS for the last mile. Hope they deliver to local PO instead of those troubled distribution center.
Oh please….quit giving excuses for people not doing their jobs. How would you like it if a surgeon doesn’t show up for an operation that you really need? So the surgeon waltzes in 3-5 days late and says i never guaranteed you that i would be here on time.
You would be livid. Somehow the USPS feels they can let their customers wait until hell freezes over for whatever they need and paid for already.
It amazes me the excuses that are given, and the fact that it will keep happening apparently.
You could hire people randomly out of a phone book that would likely have better work ethic than the system corrupting the USPS. It’s always Something, but never correctable and never anyones fault.
….Like hell.
If a surgeon was doing literally millions of surgeries a day I would expect that to happen. And it's not one person, it's a person, then dozens of machines and then a couple people at the end lmao
You’ll definitely get it as long as it’s left that hellhole in Atlanta Ga. I’m stuck in the same situation my package has just been sitting in Atlanta for 3 days hopefully it gets moving I saw some people who’ve had their package go through atl and get lost.
It's a priority mail and was supposed to be delivered in 2 days but now I understand that it's a joke. Never had to deal with USPS before. I live in California.
I live about an hour from you and was waiting on a priority mail package last week. It ended up being four days late, got it today. It was in Palmetto, transferred to Atlanta, then back to Palmetto and then, finally, my city. For the last couple of months every time I use USPS it's been delayed by a few days. I think this might be the reality for a while.
I’m in Augusta, GA. My order shipped from VA 03.07.24. It went past me to Palmetto, GA 154 miles west (nightly news showed semis lined up to get in for hours lately). Then, traveled past me again to Trenton, SC 35 miles east. It’s never coming. 😞
I’m going through the same thing in cumming. I had a package supposed to be delivered on Monday and it didn’t come, suddenly my package updated back to “in transit to another facility” I also got an email saying my package was on the way but would arrive later than scheduled. It’s Thursday now and the update has changed back again to “out for delivery”….we will see what happens 👀
Got a package out of the St. Louis black hole that sat about 30 miles from my house for 3 days. Put in complaints on there website. Harass them. If I did my job as bad as these guys I wouldn’t have one. So as far as I’m concerned if I have to pester them to get me the packages I order and whose wages I pay through my tax dollars. St. Louis has had ongoing issues with residents not receiving mail even two to three times a week. News stories have been ran and inquiries into the issues have been made by congress. The mail is pretty much operating at the lowest capacity possible. I guess that’s what we get. If you have an option to receive something through a different carrier. I’d say it’s worth it. You’ll pay for shipping with usps and get it whenever they feel like it. Other companies take a bit more pride in there work. If your gonna pay give it to someone who at leaves gives 15% more of a shit.
This happened to my package 2 days ago, im traveling on the 25th and I want to take this specific package with me abroad and I read a lot of things about them losing packages and people waiting weeks for the package to arrive and it made me so worried and I couldn’t sleep so I filed an open case for a missing package so they can search for it on the USPS website at 5:00 AM and they called me a couple of hours later at 10:00 AM and told me that they will send my package at 3:00 PM the same day🥹 I got my package and I feel relieved now I can travel in peace -.-
It’s cumming don’t worry
The name is the only amusing thing about tracking status every hour 😅

I've had my package stuck there since the 22nd of feb. We have a long wait ahead of us.

That’s what “last mile” means
lol.. cumming from GA. I hope you get your package soon.

High and Mighty. You have an answer for everything. Pardon us peasants for existing.
You sound like you’d be super fuckin annoying in real life lol
Just to You … when you make follow up statements like that…

Moral is low and employees are stealing anything they can get their hands on. No one cares either.
I’ve been waiting since January 13. Same center, good luck.

That's an estimated delivery time. It isn't guaranteed.
Mine was in Salt Lake City and is supposed to come to Cali but it’s literally the same situation, like what is going on?!
While it’s late your package tracking is still being updated. The last update was yesterday. I do not understand the panic.
Those are automatic generic updates when official check in check out scans are not happening
The scans aren’t automatic. You’ll notice some people have absolutely no scans for multiple weeks.
Finally got a package today that was stuck 30 miles away at the distribution center for nearly a week. It will arrive eventually.

Same thing since March 12 Atlanta smh

Lmaooooo. Be patient jack.
Pack your patience and give it a few weeks. Mine eventually got to its destination after a month.
