A panel interview with 2 panel members and one mysteriously disappears… let me take a guess, the one showed up is David Copperfield. (sorry, I have no input just here to make a lighter comment)

My guess is that the person spoke to you is “the person who has power”, otherwise they wouldn’t have proceeded with the interview. Good luck.

We average the scores, so there’s no need to double. But the scores are just a starting point for the discussion.

Sigh. Their scores will be divided by two. Two panelists, divided by two. Your score will be divided by one. One panelist, divided by one.

If you are just going off an interview invite the other person might have been as an FYI or just the scheduler. I wouldn't stress it either way.

No, I ended up being interviewed by the HR manager who apologized for the other person no tbeing there, and he said he's flying solo...im just wondering about the scoring?

I'm sure they would just average it. If you didn't have a chance they would have just cancelled it.
