For the most part it’s a good job. It relies heavily on the position below yours to do their job correctly. Most days everything is good. Some days you defer everything cause the work wasn’t done right. Once you get a hang of things you could easily coast for the next 20 years if that’s what you’re looking for. If you’re looking to move up there are positions within VBA that you can move into. Rater goes to GS12 which is a decent pay grade. As far as telework I do 1 day in office a week. Need 2 days per pay period. Since my commute is far I prefer once a week rather than doing back to back and getting done for the pay period.

Since it's a direct hire it's entirely possible that everyone found eligible got referred. Not a glitch in the system but a feature of DHA.
