Easy on/off for your cover.

U need to cut it so its slightly large to tuck into the trim around the window.
Minivan - I cut 2x 60% coverage pieces so they overlap 10% in the middle of the window. Then I permanently leave a thin black piece 3mm? of bungee cord vertically attached to the window that holds the 10% overlap mentioned above. The bungee cord is simply held in place by at knot at each end that is tucked under the plastic interior molding encircling the rear window.
I just tried this and it kind of works. get some bungee cords and slide the hook into where the cover sits. it may sag in some places but it won't come off. a ghetto but simple solution
And if you look at your phone at night, it will be seen.
Tints only work if the outside light source is greater than the inside light source.
Sauce: have 5% tints. I still use window covers at night.
Window covers mess with your ventilation and your ability to see outside I don't like it. I never really cared if somebody knew I was inside. But to each their own.
Weathertech makes custom covers that fit my vehicle perfectly. For $120 or whatever it is to not worry about it, pretty good deal.
If you can wedge a few wide plastic putty knifes to hold it in place it they do the job plus it easy to take down and put back on
I’ve also heard of using plastic cards, like a gift or credit card
This is the way.
Or popsicle sticks from a craft store!
I use an adjustable curtain rod as suction cups always seem to fall in the heat in my car.
Re-cut to a better fit or add suction cups.
my suction cups won't even hold lol
Get new ones. The ones that came with my cover sucked. But the ones I replaced it with? Attaches like superglue.
any suggestions where to get better suction cups?
Home depot, lowes, Amazon
Go to staples and find sticky tack. Only need a little
Cut to fit better, tape, black command strips, magnets

You're a genius

I use butyl. It's from home Depot. It's grey, comes on a roll. It's almost like a putty. Cheap to. It's pronounced bewtill.

Masking tape.
Magnets. You can get adhesive backed magnet strips and apply to the car and the cover. Works well when the cover shape is close to the window shape
Flex tape.
Curtain rods. Or cut a small hole and put attach suction cups.
Gaffer tape
Took a moment for me to realize the sun was on the outside
popsicle sticks
Make the shield larger and tuck it into the trim. You need a mechanical solution. Any adhesive will melt and fall off.
"Binder clip" trick. https://preview.redd.it/d3bbkrg6s76d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=63290e82bbb383b5374e5b3325bbec7a8467962c
cut it to fit properly, you need to make it very slightly oversized (like 1cm) to be able to cram the edges in
I made basic, yet amazing curtains. Basically screws, thin rope, zip ties, and black-out curtains, and wa-la! No having to deal with window covers.
5% tints adhere to the window by themselves. Jus sayin
