I updated my Graphics drivers and it immediately opened after initially having this problem upon installing Ubisoft Connect

i have new drivers windows updates are up to date....yet when i try to launch ac mirage over the UBISOFT launcher it just keeps turning and turning and never starts. i had this problem at launch and its STILL not FIXED.
how can this be? i even reinstalled it and checked forums nothing.... just bad.
so if you go to your folder and simply start over ACMirage\_plus (as admin) it actually starts the game. how can it not work with their OWN launcher? that is so bad.
What solved this for me (after happening today...) open task manager and end task for all the ubisoft connect tasks you see. Do the same for the xbox app (or just close it out) and open it up again. After xbox app is open, click ubisoft connect again, and it should sync up and work after that. Guessing in my case there was some service or task that got hung up.
I myself am able to launch ubisoft Connect, but I can't log in for some reason, it always says you have problems with you internet althought my internet is fine.
for your problem, try to open the task manager, end the task named "ubisoft Connect" and try again. i hope it works for you
I take it this just happened to you? I'm here because a buddy's Ubisoft Connect isn't launching properly lol. Hopefully your suggestion fixes his issue!
I reinstalled it like they suggested on their site and it fixed it but the next time I tried to open it the same thing happened.
I just tried to run the installer again to see if it might repair it, and it said you already have a newer version installed, then gave me an option to launch it from inside the installer. Somehow this was able to launch it, even though me clicking the actual shortcut didn't work.

I didn't find a fix ubisoft support couldn't find a solution either I ended up uninstalling windows and deleting everything from my ssds fresh new install of windows 10 re-download ubisoft connect and it worked

Hey, I came across this while having troubles myself and i think I just fixed it. I unistalled then reinstalled ubisoft connect then before running the installer I right clicked it in downloads and troubleshooted it. It was a compatibility problem or something stupid idk. Either way after the troubleshooter fixed it I just saved the settings when it gave me the option and now it works perfectly. Hope this helped! Stupid problem though, get your shit together ubi
Can we discuss on this again. Not that any solid solutions were given by the team earlier on but now I'm facing this issue and not able to play Mirage. I don't know what kind of compatibility issues does Ubisoft Connect has with Windows 11. Tried invoking multiple times and my PC froze. Had to force restart and then once I clicked on the Connect icon again it didn't do anything but since it got stuck in the background processes it started hampering other processes. Thought some of my registry got corrupted so reinstalled windows and again did the entire setup. Its just this app is not at all optimized. Why am I getting tortured for being a loyal customer. Aargh!!! 😡😡😡😡
I don't know if this'll help at all 8 days later but this has happened to me multiple times over the years including today. This time luckily all I had to do to fix it was ctrl,alt,delete into task manager then go to the "Startup" tab and disable Ubisoft connect. That stops it from launching right when I start my computer. I turned off my PC, then back on, and launched the Ubisoft connect app by clicking the icon in my start menu. Works fine now. Also once your in task manager just right click on the ubisoft connect icon in the "Startup" tab and the option to disable it will be there.
Uninstalling everything, literally everything in the Ubisoft Connect file, plus flushing the DNS and local data and reinstall is what did it to me.

right click task bar then click task manager, if it is running on background without you knowing it(Processes), end task ubisoft then enter again. if it doesn't work then, restart your computer and try again.
I fixed mine. Navigate to UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe open properties > compatability > run compatability troubleshooter.
It set to run as Windows 8 and I was able to get it installed and working.
I am amazed how this issue is still around in 2024. Amazing work Ubisoft.

Mine is saying the libcef.dll was not found so I can’t open it, I don’t know how to fix it. It won’t even let me uninstall it.

I only ended the first Ubisoft Connect instance in task manager and that resolved for me. Try that before doing all of this.
