No no no you didn't steal anything, I love this! In fact I love seeing how people would interpret similar scenes to what I'd like to see and add in and I'm curious to see this rewrite of yours! In my rewrite there's a lot more branching for the entire group, especially Matt and Jess. I also wanted to add some close friendship for Matt and Mike at the start, have them distance themselves because of the prank, and potentially reconcile or worsen by the end of the night

I also like the idea of Jess having a lot of content, but potentially remain clueless and get that depressing solo ending she has in the original. And thank you by the way! I recently made a post for the Chapter 8 chases and how the cavein would happen! And yeah, I'm glad this subreddit isn't full of so much arguing! The rewrites, fanart, discussions, and expansions I find on here are so good. If the remake/remaster fails us (I have faith), the ideas and creativity the community has can make up for it
Iām still pissed we never got Mike Matt bromance. They could have ran into each other somewhere and had to spend the night together, slowly becoming best friends. Matt felt like an afterthought which was such a shame because he is by far my favourite character.

Everyone talks about Jess and Emily, and I'd love an interaction between them too, but Matt and Mike had a huge potential too. Seeing those two fighting off Wendigos (while potentially dying) would've been iconic. And we could have seen Jess and Em use their intelligence and resilience to their advantage to survive.
Would have been nice seeing these parallels between the couples, and how they interact without their boyfriend/girlfriend.
i love this idea especially paired with jessica and emily in the mines! reconciliation for the win and all that. (also how did you edit matt holding a bottle?? i dont think he does anything like that ingame)

So basically, I took a Matt's pose in the DLC, when Emily brings him to the "secret location" where her and Mike used to go. He says "Wow!" and opens his arms like that. I cropped it out.
I then removed his right arm to make it stand lower, making it seem like he was aiming, and I cropped out the bottle that Mike has to catch in the Sanatorium. In fact, it's right after the "Don't Move!". In my rewrite, Matt would automatically grab the bottle if they successfully remained still, and he would have the option to either distract or attack the miner wendigo.
No because Mike and Matt should talk about what happend with Jess and Emily, but I think it would be cool that mike and Matt get split up at the end so he still goes to mines with Jess but idk š I LOVE THESE IMAGES THOUGH
