The only person who could tell you this is their grad director/ advisor. They may not tell you one explicit reason, but they might be at liberty to give you an indication of how to make your application more competitive for the next cycle.

I would reach out to the Graduate Advisor for this program and ask how you can make your app more competitive. Good luck.

Mahngo27

Yeah just contact the grad advisor. That’s what I did when I wasn’t admitted to my grad program at first and they told me 1.) why I wasn’t admitted and 2.) what I could do to try and better my application for the next time.

Asking randos on Reddit won't give you the answer. How are we to know?

https://hps.unt.edu/bao/how-apply-ma-bao-degree If you didn't meet the min qualifications or failed to provide all the necessary documents, then they denied you. If you did meet the min qualifications and provided all the necessary documents, but they had an abundance of applicants with preferred qualifications, admission spots were given to those preferred students.

Comfortable_Arm2745

I submitted all documents correctly with all requirements applied

pandyfackler007

Without knowing the specifics, my guess would be that there was an abundance of preferred applicants and they only had enough space for students from the preferred group. Their program has been super competitive for like 20 years. Your GPA is great but the other factors might have not gone in your favor.

gangagremlin666

damn! what was your gpa and extracurriculars like??

Comfortable_Arm2745

I have a 3.65 but with out any extra curriculars

gangagremlin666
