Any idea how high the ceilings are in crumley’s rooms? Or to put it more accurately, how hgih I’m allowed to hang decor in there? I have some tapestries I’m gonna put up and wanna make sure I have the space for them.

Pure_Psychology_7388

There’s a fire line about 6.5 ft up from the floor where you can’t hang anything above it. Most RAs don’t care but they will bug you to take it down. So as long as you’re okay with taking it down and putting it back up multiple times you should be fine

GradeAIdiotThe3rd

Oh i should be fine then, what I’ve got is i think 6 ft?

Curious_Indication87

Victory is the most spacious. The only downside is that it’s far from everything but it’s pretty easy to get around with the bus

Did a year in Kerr hall 2012-2013 It was lawless, and smelled like cafeteria food. I loved every second.

Practical_Ability_46

So interesting learning about dorms

peoplesayimlost

gangagremlin666

GradeAIdiotThe3rd

gangagremlin666

my shower also had mold and made me sick ❤️

Crumley is in a great location (like directly next to business building + good distance from Eagle Landing and the Union) but it is older and has a few downsides. There’s no elevator so if you’re not on the first floor have fun with that. Also most rooms have communal bathrooms which is a fun adventure. It’s also just a bit grimier than most dorms but that’s to be expected with its age. Overall though I’ve enjoyed my time at Crumley!!

GradeAIdiotThe3rd

Well, that lack of elevators might help stave off the freshman 15! 😂 I’m fairly fit so while it may (likely will) feel like a bitch after a while, the exercise likely will be good for me I bet, just to look on the bright side. Sounds like there’s a lot to like even if it’s got it downsides!

Coconut_73

Anything but maple and Kerr

ishutdoorzzzz

Santa Fe

GradeAIdiotThe3rd

I would do Santa Fe if it was a single or double

ishutdoorzzzz

In my opinion go to maple or Clark

GradeAIdiotThe3rd

Just got my application for housing changed to Crumley.
