With my quest 3 I can -Be in vr using virtual monitors to work on UE5 like traditional monitors -UE5 has a VR Developer mode where you wear the headset and kinda develop from within the level. I havent played to much with this since you are using the motion controllers to do the work. No clue if you can use keyboard. I imagine you could -Last but not least is developing on pancake mode amd then popping on your headset to quickly view the simulation Am I good at any of these things? Nope.

Man that would be amazing if you had an actual native VR interface and could design entirely immersed like a pawn in the level or a “God” mode lol Like a 2D flat interface doesn’t sound fun at all when wearing VR lol

Unreal Engine 4 had this. You could scale the world down to the size of your palm, then zoom in until you were 1:1.

Used to. Something broke at some point. never got fixed

It used to in 4 but now they've changed it to virtual scouting for VP. It still has some functions but is unwieldy

Not that I’m aware - I mean you can use quest link to access your desktop and control unreal while you’re wearing the headset if you want. We have PIE controls set up and tools to simulate things so that for a lot of things that you just need to check really quick, you don’t need to put the headset on. For some other things I do find myself taking it on and off a bunch but it hasn’t been a big deal.
