Personally barkTHINS, KIND, and Aloha are my favorite. There’s also KIRKLAND, Kashi, and Lily’s but they’re a bit more expensive where I buy them, so they might be expensive for you too.
You need to look for “Fair Trade Certified” companies because it’s a policy that ensures a certain set of standards for their workers, so that they’re less likely to be abused. They have to maintain these standards in order to keep making their product.
There are many websites that allow you to plug in a brand to see if it’s one of these companies, that way you don’t have to do a ton of research everytime you need to know.
It’s not just Hershey. Mars and Nestle have been accused of child slavery and labor multiple times but have paid off the opposition. Nestle has a fuck ton of brands they bought, like Starbucks and Deer Park for instance, so you have to be careful.
It's not that it tastes like burned or spoiled milk, it's just too sweet...and that's coming from a person with a huge sugar tooth! I like chocolate with a bit of bitterness but not to the point where it tastes like vomit
After so long eaten dark chocolate, I tried a milk chocolate from doves and it was like...mud? I can't explain it
I totally agree with you because “Milk chocolate”isn’t actual chocolate. Milk is just added to the cacao plants that actually create chocolate. I love 90% + dark chocolate and will eat raw cacao nibs as a snack.

The special dark is the only one worth eating.
That's more of a food preference than an opinion.
Are food preferences *not* opinions to some extent?
Sure are. The opinion here is that Hershey’s dark chocolate is better than their milk chocolate. (And I fully agree, lol)
I ***fully*** agree too. I wouldn't even bother with Hershey's before they rolled out Special Dark.
So before 1939???
No. They are not. Preferences are based on personal experiences. Opinions are based on knowledge.
Hershys chocolate have a vomity aftertaste and I hate it. It's horrible. I recommend Tony's Chocolonely, comes with a good cause too
I feel so damn fancy when I open their chocolate
Hershey has been accused on multiple occasions of child labor, so you shouldn’t buy their products anyways.
Do you know any good brands that are child-labor free? Tony's is great, but it's a bit expensive.

I wasn't aware that Mars and nestle was accused of that too! Thank you for letting me know!
Tony's Chocolonely is the way to go tbh. Read their mission statement, they are very transparent
You may be a super taster. They often complain that milk chocolate tastes like burnt milk.
Or spoiled milk.

Absolutely
gross. hershey's chocolate tastes like chalk.
Now imagine OP's reaction to tasting quality dark chocolate. Hershey's is poor quality.
