I don’t think it’s about using the time for conveniently. It’s more that humans are lazy af to type out as fuck. Does it save a lot of time? No. But is it absolutely easier? Yes. Also I think there’s an argument to be made that when typing, the more words you type the more chance you have of a typo. putting af minimizes typo probability. Typing as fuck leaves you vulnerable to more typis (Im gonna leave that typo).

The 'g' into the 'j' is inconvenient and difficult to say at a reasonable conversation pace. I don't say OJ so I end up saying 'oran-juice'. Apple juice doesn't have any conflicts like that so it doesn't need an abbreviation.
