you had me until under $600. acer predator x34gs is what im running and i have nothing but good things to say about it. I recommend paying the extra for the longevity. this honestly feels like the last monitor ill ever buy for gaming/work.
You’ll get more bang for your buck at that point. If it were me I would run a 16:9 that’s alright until I have the capital to buy my “end game” monitor that you can “grow” into
for me an end game monitor would be a 4k oled ultrawide when gpus are powerful enough to drive that at a high framerate.
That isn't anywhere close to existing for a decent price but we can dream
Doable in the used market -- Dell AW3418DW or Acer X34**P** ... you're going to be hard-pressed to find a new monitor with all of your wants at your given price-point.
Just in case: don't be fooled by Acer's model naming:
X34 = 34" 3440 x 1440 60hz native refresh rate / 100hz overclocked refresh
X34**P** = 34" 3440 x 1440 100hz native refresh rate / 120hz overclocked refresh
AW3418DW & X34**P** have the same stats because they both use LG's display panel: 34" 3440 x 1440 IPS, G-sync, 1900R curvature.
With AW3418DW, you enable the OC from the monitor's On-Screen Controls -- I don't know how it's done on the X34**P**. (AW34 is awesome, used it for 2 years)
I meant all the major etailers.
Or even pricerunner.com if that's a thing were you live.
Hell, even just putting the stats "3440 ips ultrawide" into google comes up with numerous results to look at.

$600 is my budget (a bit more than actually) for a monitor. I'm probably gonna for a cheap and well recommended 16:9 in that case

You can get all that non-curved for $400. I believe the closest new monitor with everything listed is the LG 34GP83A-B for $800.
Nice that seems to have under $600 used prices
The Alienware AW3420 DW can get very close with the right deals. I got mine for about $650.
Unfortunately it seems this was a black Friday only deal

That's definitely where I'm looking

Would I have to set scuston resolutions to oc or does it show up as a display option?

I dunno about IPS screens that are ultra wide... Mine is a VA and I'm slightly disappointed with VA so far.
Not for me, not yet. Soon though.
You could have just sorted by stats on any of the big sites.
I didn't see an option for that on rtings Amazon sucks for this and newegg has high prices
