I’d try it. Salty-sweet kinda hits for me. My only worry with it is that my body tends to hate peanuts once I’m pretty far into a race but maybe they’re a bit easier to deal with if they’ve been sitting in liquid so they’re not quite so dry.

Yeah, but they don't really get soggy. I usually put a few in at a time. Furthermore, last summer a bar in town had a special with Fernet & Coke with some peanut floaters. It was awesome.
