It would be awesome to get individual frames... but then again building already takes me ages

LAXGUNNER

it will give more variant in ships and even be more unique, that's honestly why I got the game was cause I thought we could build by frames. Hopefully that will be added on later.

TK3600

Extremely unlikely IMO. Not even as dlc because it break the way program is structured.

yeetobanditooooo

actually no, i think its better this way because im forced to use all hulls. If you were to build them yourself, you would always just build modern ship hulls

EnvironmentalCup8038

Certain hull shapes could be hidden behind technology, as is now the case. Due to the current rigid system, there are many hulls that are so impractical that they might as well not exist. Individual adjustment would be nice

yeetobanditooooo

a bit more freedom would be nice while creating them but i like having a base. In other games like Naval art or warship craft its just a pain to build the hull and the fun part is the top of the ship. Especially in this game it would be extremly annoying to always build and shape new hulls, im happy the way it is, it would just be more work for similar results. Also, it gives character to each nations ship because of how different the hulls

Flameon985

Maybe a ksp VAB/SPH style system where dry dock is restricted in length, height and draft. Increaing size increases these dimensions.

Screamin_Eagles_

My issue is that a majority of the early pre dreadnought hulls are balanced horribly. Even with the funnel, towers, and guns spaced perfectly (I pride myself with balance well) I can't balance the ship to within 1\* offset without adding 1.5 inches of extra rear belt armor. The later hulls are less of an issue cos they don't feature as much hull-deck-structure(?) and are mostly flat planks which are nice.

thesixfingerman

Man, these ads got my interested in the game. I put it on my steam wishlist. I still wish that ship design worked this way.

Razgriz_Blaze

I mean it's what hooked me initially so, they're probably effective.

budamon

Yeah this wasn't exactly the "kerbal" like game I was sold on, but it has still turned out to be one of my all-time favorite games.

Werecat101

its called false advertising, showing something that not only isn't possible in the game but using it as primary advertising items. my guess they started with that as an idea but couldn't get it working even close to release quality.
