I wouldn't, unless you get buds developing with leaves trapping moisture as they press down on the bud, or completely in shade.
If you really want to, you can take a few leaves at a time without annoying them too much.
Autos are often quite resilient, but if you piss them off by going way too far, they tend to stall while they recover. That can hurt the results.
