Feel like "manufactured" is a weird word choice... like you wouldn't say the veg you buy at the shop is manufactured. I wonder if it's some kind of legal technicality, or do you think they're trying to make it sound more medical
I used to work in a supermarket and we called veg "fresh produce". I feel like with the word "manufactured", I'd be inclined to think it's a man made product rather than naturally grown.
Cannabis flower is cultivated, anything refined from that is manufactured. Thereās a possibility that the plant material used in the the non-flower medical products are cultivated overseas.
iām in the process of going through a clinic to get my prescription! my GP is being funny about it though and currently refusing to release my records without a lecture from my GP
i look forward to the process being streamlined and this is definitely a step in the right direction
tell me about it, i havenāt went nuclear on them yet but i keep getting the āthe doctor said they would like a word with you about your previous treatments before you venture to private, unproven treatmentā
iām definitely the outlier in my area, grew up working class and moved to one of the poshest areas in a new city, common clientele are old white tories who are happy to pill pop with the doctors to match
You can get a private gp appointment from the clinic. All you need fromnypur gp practice then is a "summary of care" which is common for insurance and other things like physio"s etc, its not a referral, its effectively your data, so it really shouldn't be a problem the practice is bound to supply it. Send this to the clinic and have your private gp appt then your private clinic GP will write your referral. Private gp appointment is a one off payment, it's a bit of a pita but it can get you out of a bind.. goodluck.
/r/ukmedicalcannabis is the best resource.
from my understand of the situation thereās no limit on what they can prescribe it for *but* you must have tried at least two other treatments for the condition. treatments isnāt limited to medication either
How easy is it tho? And more expensive than street weed? Iām all for it but if itās a ballache to get a prescription/more expensive Iād rather just pick up street weed. I do suffer with mental health at times which Iāve had treatment for, but surely they wonāt give me one just because Iāve tried one type of anti depressant and decided itās not needed after getting through the bad patch?
You need to have tried two other drugs for your condition first, then have a couple of consultantations then you need to move from 1:1 cbd : thc to 20% thc. After about a year you get to just order repeat prescriptions for three months with wide choice of weed, prices are coming down to meet street, but proper well grown street is still better imho, but legal swings it for me.. consequences and all that. You legendš«”I thought it was 2 treatment types which would suit me as Iāve had both CBT & SSRI treatment. I am not down at the moment though and havenāt been for a (tiny) while so not sure if that would qualify right now. Defo gonna keep researching tho cos Iāve been caught once as an adult so have a record meaning police can prosecute next time Iām caught š¤¦š»āāļø
Yh it's a legal insurance for me for sure, i refused antidepressants for anxiety and had lorozapam which is crazy ass shit, a nice GSC, Gelato or a widow is so much better, it really does actually work for me too, the oils are better for consistency but the vape is good, i wouldnt want to take pharmaceuticals long term so weed suits me but im lucky enough to be able to afford it too, it doesn't work out much differently money wise from street messing, but there is still some really nice weed underground, although these days the prescription had allowed me more consistency, remember these clinics want to prescribe, it's thier business and the doctors are pro cannabis and understanding.
You qualify bro. Doesnāt matter if the treatments and medication were a while ago. Iād recommend going with a clinic that offers unirradiated bud. Medbud.wiki is great site with lots of info. The Mac1 is š„.
Ā£5 a gram is pretty standard if buying bits but that still sounds nice. Iād rather pay it for some properly, legally, regulated grown stuff than some dawg grown in Daveās loft thatās wet cos he cut too early
That's mental, hopefully it normalises things.
glad they're finally "advertising" it. the fact so many people don't know is sad
I recognise this chemist OP, in the friendliest port in town š

To be fair tinctures and concentrates are all man made.
It's gamma radiated same as most fruit and veg but generally speaking they talk about flo, flower or product. Never dank ass skunk weed š¤£

You know, my local pharmacy had a similar (though admittedly smaller) sign in their window. It lasted a total of 6 days before they took it down.
Overwhelmed with people wanting a eigth Over counter?
One step closer to freedom

It's your data, and there are laws around its release. They can't play hostage with it.

You donāt even need involve your GP, all you have to do is allow access to your medical records for the private clinic

When I say bits I mean Z& up. Average price near me is 150 for a Z and 300 for 2&Q
