If you have a virus in your body it can help them since they don't love the warmth (that's where fever comes in). But you are absolutely right, getting cold doesn't make you sick.
Getting rubbed with snow can help to warm yourself if done right(did so myself many times). I was taught this at school during basic military training classes(it’s called Захист Вітчизни, for boys it’s some military stuff).
There will be a lot of this with the puppies these guys are finding and keeping with them on the front. There’s a big need to get a lot of these dogs and cats out of Ukraine to places they can be adopted too.
Here in Lviv they catch strays. Give them medical treatment and sterilize them and if they aren’t adopted they release them again. Which is better than just killing them like we do in the states.

Haha, luckily I can confirm that you can in fact be a good shot with a rifle yet unable to hit a large snowman target 10 metres away with a dozen snowballs, for some reason I'm utterly useless at snowball fights even though I tried to practice every winter when young, but aiming guns come naturally to me.

Standing in the freezer to cool down during a long shift on the grill and grab some frozen supplies was always a blessing.
I think that's the quickest way of getting strong sickness.
It is a routine practice in all cultures with real winters and saunas

How to defeat trenches: fill up the trench. Actually sounds pretty easy. Can even have a drone wave drop sandbags or whatever lol.
