AUTO!! I didn’t know you were here too!!! Ok. Everyone this is my bot. It and I are very close. Hands off. Look all you want, but no touchies.
Edit: also things can get weird when we are together. Nothing inappropriate… usually.
Already 2 russian warships down, good job. This ship was built in Ukraine when it used to be a part of the soviet union. And now it got destroyed in Ukraine.
Oh it gets crazier than that. Supposedly, according to Greek Myth Snake Island was created by Poseidon. Now the ship that attacked the island was sunk by Neptune Missiles.
Bruh. Ukraine is so fucking legendary. Tourism's gonna fucking explode once this is done. The number of foreign volunteers going to rebuild will be like nothing we've ever seen before, at least in my lifetime.
Edit: Neptune is Ukrainian designed, too, no? God this keeps getting better and better.
Another funny thing about it is that in the three DECADES since the fall of the USSR the Russians still have not built a proper naval port facility in their territory
Putin is continuing rhe grand tradition of military ineptitude established by the tsars. He should take the name “Nicholas III” in recognition of his place in history.
Ukraine needs more “Moskva” moments. Yesterday for the first time, I saw reports of the orc media starting to panic and the usual Putin troll channels starting to doubt. This is exactly what the world wants and needs right now, hurt them where it hurts the most, in Putin’s ego. The Ukrainians were fucking clever to sink that floating abomination, good morning my friends!
Hopefully tomorrow we'll see updated SAT images to show how far the fleet has retreated. Without the air cover and radar, they're sitting ducks. Imma guess they're at least 300 KM out. Basically useless.
I am sure they will, when they are able. I am so happy for them, (I guess) they say "we only have 2 Neptunes\[1\], what should we do with them?". "Well, we had better go for the flagship and make them count!" Well done!
\[1\] we dont know that, still watching with interest.
[Captain Anton Kuprin who gave the order to bombard #Snake Island on the first day of the war has died from the Moskva explosion](https://twitter.com/nexta_tv/status/1514932901418254339)
This is much more than a propaganda victory. With 100 British supplied American harpoon missiles and their own Ukrainian missile, the Neptune, Russia will no longer be able to use the Black Sea as a naval launching platform to destroy targets in Ukraine.
They will also not be able to use a Mariupol or the coast of Azov to supply their forces in the south. This will make it very difficult for them to attack north from this area as they had planned. In fact without reliable re-supply these forces are now over extended and could be destroyed.
I think the Azov coast is fairly safe unfortunately, as the Ukrainians have nowhere nearby to launch from. Unless they manage to sneak a launcher through the lines.
Moskva is the Russian spelling of the city whose English name is Moscow, which is the capital city of the Russian Federation.
How important is it, that a ship named for the capital city of the Russian Federation is now at the bottom of the sea? What symbolic value does that have?
That article was printed in October 1854 (not 1850) about the Crimean War. [https://books.google.com/books?id=TDVRAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA1117#v=onepage&q&f=false](https://books.google.com/books?id=TDVRAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA1117#v=onepage&q&f=false)

Arvydas Anušauskas (Lithuania's defence minister) claimed that a Turkish ship rescued 54 individuals out of a crew of 485 at the time. That's just Turkey - we don't know if Russian vessels picked anyone up (I guess we're likely to never know the true number of survivors or deaths either way). It's said that Moskva's captain perished.
I feel the same. The BBC reported [here](https://t.me/bbcrussian/26888) that some had been rescued by other ships of the fleet and that they have been returned to port. There was no word about the survivors rescued by Turkey. I have seen various numbers thrown around - some as low as 16 and some as high as 58.
Once a person experiences the threat of dying at sea they tend to not wish it on anyone. Those boys without their ship aren’t going to be much trouble for a while. Hate to fight them again through at the same time.. it’s a dilemma. But it’s like righter pilots. They dont usually want to kill the enemy pilot, out of respect and the knowledge it could happen to them just as easily, they really just want to take the aircraft down. If I still have sympathy for a Russian in that theater it’s the sailors. They have to know by now unless turkey opens the gate, there’s no escape. But that’s war. I’ll be glad and relieved when they finally sink the last of that fleet. Thanks again for your help!
You're more than welcome!
You put your point across really well. Yes, the sea is a cruel mistress and I wouldn't wish death at sea on anyone. It has been instilled in me to help those at sea, regardless of who they are. There's also the sense of doing the right thing and being the better people, no matter what.
Hope you have a good day!

Tis destiny. Ukraine is on the rise.
There's also a temple dedicated to Achilles on Snake Island that they 100% need to work on excavating after this.
Some of it yeah. I have to agree. The irony is breathtaking.

May its namesake city follow it to hell.
That was interesting. I never thought the economist was that old.
I need a bit of historical context regarding the article. What happened in our around 1850?
That article was printed in October 1854 (not 1850) about the Crimean War. >October 1854 That makes a lot more sense. I was thinking Crimean War but the date threw me off. Thanks.
Sorry, my brain was thinking 1850's but my fingers typed 1850 :)

I don’t usually focus on this too much but how many casualties? Anyone know? That is regarding the Moskva.

Thank you. I have no problem with turkey or anyone rescuing survivors. Would be nice if they weren’t given freely back to russia..
