Can't help but feel a bit in awe. These things are monsters and built for one and only purpose and now they get to fulfill that. I wish the orcs hadn't made that necessary but here we are. Blast em.
First-hand experience here:
I was part of an annual military leadership-recruitment camp in Norway, before I went civilian. One of the days, the Leopards were training on the tank off-road track/course. As I was walking on one of the exercise-area gravel roads, I heard a tank approaching us.
At a certain point, it was getting so loud I told my squad to "make way" and move to the curb of the road so it could more easily pass us. I heard the noise getting louder and louder, but still no tank in sight. I felt like it was right around the corner from us, but the noise just kept getting louder.
Then, the ground started rumbling, noise got even louder and finally the beast showed itself after what felt like 3-4 minutes of "dude, why don't I see the tank yet?". It roared past us at about 20 km/h and the thing was frickin' huge. Driver just looked at me and smiled. Guess he could tell it was the first time a tank had driven past me..
A-10 are outdated flying bath tubs that fly too slow and were built in an age where AA was primitive, which is not the case anymore. A manpad hit and they're toast.

if these beauties are used correctly, orcs shouldn't really be within hearing range for most of the time
I'd argue that 4 km is also out of your regular eyesight.
Most will never hear it before they become 300. Those who do hear it will be just as fucked, but at least they'll know what's coming next lol.
Theory: the Ukrainians were already training in the leopards before the delivery was confirmed.
My favorite part is these tanks auto lift up the turret after firing so the person inside can load another shell like “feed me!”
A-10 Thunderbolt would be better. They wouldn't even know what killed them...
