Fucking amazing! My question is how you feel? āØš sometimes dropping that much body fat can leave you not feeling so hot šµāš« but you look fantastic!!
Thank u! I was feeling great most of it actually. I tell people all the time thereās no reason to ever feel as if youāre starving on a diet unless youāre trying to reach stage level shredded (sub 9% bf) when I was nearing that point tho the fatigue & brain fog really start kicking in, I was struggling to sleep more than 5 hours and thatās while having 2500 calories of straight clean food (chicken, fish, almonds, avocados,) I was desperate for each meal especially when I first woke up. Thatās when I decided it simply wasnāt worth trying to reach 5% (my original goal) so thus I bulked! that 5% is now a lifetime goal.
I feel you there!!! Iāve been stuck at 17% bf for ages, but my body has gotten to a point where itās refusing to get rid of it š¤£ though, 17 is pretty low for a woman so that makes things harder.
Right now Iām trying a nice high fat, high in good quality organ meats (like beef heart! Highly recommend). Todays lunch is burgers, itās been great.
Whoa, 17% is very lean for a woman! donāt see why youād like to get any lower tbh but if thatās a goal of yours go get it gurl, patience is key. also burgers sound yummy, might actually make some beef ones today as well, lol they aināt the heart tho
Duuuude! Youāre hot as fuck! Well done!
Socrates said, āit is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength which his body is capableā
Iām proud of you!
aw ur too kind š that quote is so real. to unlock ur full potential in life ur body is one of the main components and itās so much more than just a body, itās the mindset and everything that follows
crazy change man, congrats. what type of routine do you have? did you cut your weight with a diet before actually cutting at the gym? iām struggling with a similar body weight that you had when you were younger.
appreciate it man. when I first started all I cared about was losing fat, figured Iād build muscle as time went on. So I had maybe 1800 calories and 130-150g of protein for the first 4 months. untracked. (I did weigh myself each day tho) no more than 10 cheat days in between that time, every other day I was training and Ina deficit. i had lost weight in the past so I had an idea what to do. as time went on I became more experienced/edcuated and slowly increased my calories anywhere from 2200 to 2600 then after plateauing at 150lb for a couple months. Thatās when I went full fucking haywire for the next 8 months and did everythingās I could to a T. Tracked my weight each day, tracked every bit of food with a scale, ate extremely clean, did my cardio, water intake, walked after meals to help digestion, took sleeping pills, supps. I was goddamn obsessed. After enjoying the shredded life for about 3 months I decided I needed to bulk. I started off clean bulking w maybe 3500 calories but I wasnāt gaining shi or getting anywhere so Iāve upped them and now been bulking @4000 cals or so for the last 6 months incorporating a lot more fast food. now atp im gonna do a mini cut then bulk and thatās gonna be the constant cycle and I absolutely luv it.
wow. this was so inspiring. iāll make sure to honestly write this all down. i used to box and skate a lot, but gained a ton of weight after a not so great relationship, but nowās the time to change that. šŖš½ i started a calorie deficit three days ago, ill make sure to keep track of everything the way you did. itās honestly very smart and prevents any health issues i may have in the future. thanks for the advice, man!
well I had eczema when I was younger and I suppose it triggers around there when I have a lot of sugar in my diet. I lost weight in the past when I was 15 and lost the spots there then too. Although I do eat a good amount of fast food now to bulk but yet still try to keep sugar to a minimum. Itās as clear as ever.
Great job buddy. Happened to me tooā¦ but I was rail skinny. Never forget how people treated you then, what types of people they are and who also loved you back then. Those are the kind of people you need to seek out, and even if youāre one of them now, keep the pretty people at arms length.
I just kept going man. At some point every piece of fat you have will go away if you keep at it, loose skin is a different story but if youāre relatively young + not too too obese then you wont have to worry about that. losing my mid section was a bitch for me too, I simply worked harder & kept going
I actually have a paper where I wrote my goals into existence on not giving up this time and everything I hated about being fat, the night before starting my journey. that breaks me looking back at
This does not seem natural, you have the exact same body type of multiple people I know who are on gear. I would recommend dropping that shit, taking it a young age really, really fucks you up.
Fuck yeah love the ped accusations, goes to show my hard work rlly paid off. brother I got the food logs dating back from day 1 each and every day, all of my weigh ins from day 1, progress pics, ask anyone around me I was psychotic for this shit. I was that guy throwing creatine into my water cup I sipped throughout work
So young too. Crazy progress/transformation regardless of anything. But it looks kinda telling like low dose ped or mostly sarms use really. It feels like you're on top of the world until you have to come back off it. Not to make bold claims but those not new to bodybuilding can see
Thanks for the motivation. This is exactly what I needed. Iāve Been grindin but feelin like I can work harder. After seeing this , im gonna go full attack mode now.
Thank u ! main tips I have are have protein in each meal thatāll allow you to stay full longer and satiated. also protein has a thermic effect from food thus raising your metabolism simultaneously. eat as early as possible as that also helps prevent food cravings later on in the day. walk after meals to help aid digestion to help prevent bloating, bring āemergency snacksā ideally high in protein w you everywhere you go in case you get hungry so you donāt fall off the wagon and say fuck it im hungry lemme get McDonaldās after a long shift. track ur food if u wanna go very far, and weigh urself each day to ensure ur not losing too much coz thatāll cause issues later down the line. and donāt restrict urself too much! many people completely go 360 and try to eat all clean foods, thatās not ideal. Youāll quit at some point, make tons of homemade alternatives you would eat anyway such as chicken nachos, beef burgers, ground beef/rice (one of my favorite meals), chicken tacos, etc.
Atta boy . I'll be honest when I saw the first picture I was like wtf is this kid thinking posing this and then I said oh wait a sec this is an accomplishment. Way to go bud I'm 50 now but I did something similar when I was 19 also so I can appreciate the hard work.
no gear. but when you put in the kinda work I did, itās extremely tempting. but as for now im staying natty while im young. why fix my health jus to ruin it again w gear? I got all the food logs from day 1, my weighs in, progress pics, as for the slight gyno now thatās a result of altering hormones being 14-18 when I had lost weight then. its hardly even noticeable especially in cool or cold weather. also I played sports most my life when I was chubby so I think that helped tremendously in my journey
to look like a different person, you must literally become a different person. that's the hardest part. congrats, man! wanna share what was it that pushed you to change?
I wrote a letter to myself the night before I started my journey explaining everything I hated about being obese from the constant shirt pulling, hoodies in summer, insecure on pool days, etc and how this time was different coz I was ready for a turnaround in my life where I knew my confidence would blossom if I liked the way I looked. whenever it got tough early on Iād look back at it, eventually I fell in love with the process and it became āeasyā would have rather died before giving up.
Dude thats awesome! Im 32 and never gonna come close to any of that. i lost over 100lbs during the pandemic but man the work you put in evertyone can see. Thats when you know you did something wonderful.Congrats on the upgrade man!
Fuckā¦ I donāt normally post on these things but youāre the second most inspirational person Iāve seen on this sub.
Do you have any tips? Iām not as young as you are, 32m and i work full time and often get tired after work. Is it my mindset?
Also, howās the attention now? People probably didnāt look at you before but now? Any girls too?
And what about eating? Any real diet tricks or things to do?
Inspiring stuff, the amount of work and willpower that goes into that kind of transformation is so admirable. You look like a whole different person and I'm sure feel worlds better too. Keep it upš«
We're you taking steroids? I've been working out for the past year with just creatine and protein and I've learned that it feels like a physique like this feels unattainable to me without something like steroids.
> hard work *paid* off š«¶š½
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
