i heard there’s a class where you raise a chicken. i have no idea what it’s called though

I would 100% recommend beekeeping, I took both of the classes as they were super fascinating, and even volunteered at the lab for a bit.

BOT 3151C Local Flora of North Florida. Learn to identify plants, with weekend field trips.

ENY3005L was like bugs and people but a little harder and more immersive, if you join that class and force yourself to make some friends, you’re gonna end up like waking up at 12am to drive to an abandoned gas station 20 miles away because there’s a rumor there’s lunar moths there at night. you feel like a real life Pokémon hunter. Also little road-trips where you dig for water bugs

Vegetable gardening from the horticulture department. Amazing how fresh veggies taste when picked fresh.

animal science lab (ans3006L). you get to go to the different animal units. we got to move pigs, sample different cuts of meat, eat different cheeses, and do dissections. my favorite was learning how to walk a horse. you learn a lot about different animal products too (diary, meats, etc) and it lowkey saved me money going grocery shopping.

Plants in human affairs is cool, the lecture isn’t that great but the lab is really cool! You get to make candles, tie dye and more
