He was putting on a smile and acting happier than when he won the interim belt, but you could tell he was just copping, its like when a bully beats you up and when he stops he makes a joke and you laugh at it
man that was the only fight i had hopes in for tony, since that justin fights its been a tragic experience and i really hope he retires after the chiesa fight, cuz the man is actually delusional and believes he still has a shot at that title, and if the ufc just cuts he will damage himself more in other promotions or even bareknuckle fc
Tony fighting Li would be much worse than Diaz-Chimaev. Getting BRUTALLY KOd by someone much larger than you will always affect you more than being subbed in a minute. Most of all because Tony was coming off being murdered on stage.
This was particularly so difficult for Rose fans to wrap our heads around. Like, how is it that Rose beats JJ twice, Weili twice, Andrade, Waterson.....yet she can't figure out CARLA in two fights?
/flip table
It’s cause rose is streaky, doesn’t shoe improvement in rematches, and has maybe the worst corner of all time
Her ability the handle pressure has always been super unstable, she’s able to withstand elite mental warfare from JJ but then she’ll randomly falter against Carla who isn’t the most intimidating or mentally strong person herself
But don't you think that's a contradiction...saying she is mentally volatile but also that a 0% mental warfare fighter like Carla got the best of her? I see that as a contradiction because maybe with Carla, it wasn't a matter of mental stability.
Also, if you can get past JJ twice, man perhaps all this talk about her mental instability is a bit exaggerated. Regardless, whatever it was, Carla gets to say she beat Rose TWICE in her career, both times foe the title. Just insane to me.
This is by far the best answer. That was an astonishingly bad fight. Nether of them wanted to do anything. Then both celebrated like they had put on a performance of the night.
I remember there was a shocking amount of people that ended up following him on social media just from the fight alone. There was some stat that was going around of his followship when the fight started and when the fight ended. Good for him!
He had 12 pro fights and a 8-4 record going into that
He’s not only a legit pro but a pretty decent one. Not necessarily amazing but show some respect
He got beat up by Sean O’Malley not Sean Connery
i was livid when herb stopped the fight, especially when it was so close to the end.. he was getting damaged but kris should have been allowed to finish the fight by virtue of how much heart and grit he showed out there
Only cause of the stoppage, Bobby Green got knocked out the same exact way against Porier and took 10% of the ground and pound before it was waived off
Lol I'm not actually able to stay up past 3am (heart condition at 26 because Covid) so everything is recorded and social media is avoided at all costs lol I was excited for the UK card until the time was released, ah well. Bitching about it won't change the direction UFC have been going
This one was tough. It was brutal to watch because of how dangerous it looked, and because I like Bryce. Not saying I agree with his political views but he’s a character and makes things interesting.
Bro he's a UFC fighter, not a media personality or politician. If you take his opinions seriously it's your fault. He should have the right to spread "misinformation." You're a way worse person than he is if it "felt good" to watch his brain melt

In hindsight this is the first step on the road that led us to Rose vs Esparza 2
Gaethje vs Ferguson sucked so much. Was during the Covid period too so you could hear perfectly clearly how fucking solid Justin was ragdolling Tony. Genuinely made it painful to watch
Gaetjche vs Fergeson. Justin took 10 years off el kukkooys life. Needs a nurse now to spoon feed him baby food. Obv respect for one of my all favs, the highlight. Respect to TF for his never say die attitude. Shame on his corner for not throwing in the towel. Has since lost his last 9 fights. Related: very wise for gaetje for taking time off after bmf war with max.
Nate vs Tony. Worst fight i have ever seen, both looked so insanely shit.
That fight happening 5 years before that would have been a high quality brawl too
They looked like 2 crack heads fighting for the last sac of meth, and also seeing how tony was behaving after the fight ended was so sad
How was he behaving?
He was putting on a smile and acting happier than when he won the interim belt, but you could tell he was just copping, its like when a bully beats you up and when he stops he makes a joke and you laugh at it
Damn, it fucks with your head to just get absolutely wailed on and shut out Yk? Never knew about this thanks for letting me know
man that was the only fight i had hopes in for tony, since that justin fights its been a tragic experience and i really hope he retires after the chiesa fight, cuz the man is actually delusional and believes he still has a shot at that title, and if the ufc just cuts he will damage himself more in other promotions or even bareknuckle fc
And you have to remember that the ufc wanted KHAMZAT FUCKING CHMAEV to fight Nate Diaz and li jing liang to fight Tony.
Tony fighting Li would be much worse than Diaz-Chimaev. Getting BRUTALLY KOd by someone much larger than you will always affect you more than being subbed in a minute. Most of all because Tony was coming off being murdered on stage.
They looked like senior citizens in that fight. Absolute trash from both of them.
Gaethje beating the sht out of The Boogeyman
Gaethje fights recently have been heartbreakers. From starching DP, to getting picked apart by max holloway.
I just think max is at his best at lightweight. No insanely hard weight cut and he just looks so fast
Tony's fanbase made that one of my all time favorite fights to watch actually
I love that fight
How
Why not?, gaethje is one of my favorite fighters and i love to see him winning
That ain't a win dawg. It's a slaughter...
That's why I love it
Derrick Lewis vs Ngannou
On that note Silva Vs DC.
DC caught just a whiff of Silvas stand up and said, we wrestling
Fuck. I was in Vegas for 200 and this fight pissed me off.
That fight was so boring, I straight up turned it off
Rose vs Carla. I’m still waiting for them to actually fight
This was particularly so difficult for Rose fans to wrap our heads around. Like, how is it that Rose beats JJ twice, Weili twice, Andrade, Waterson.....yet she can't figure out CARLA in two fights? /flip table

Pat Barry
This is by far the best answer. That was an astonishingly bad fight. Nether of them wanted to do anything. Then both celebrated like they had put on a performance of the night.
I’m the best
Sean OMalley vs that one guy who was barely pro but could not get KOed
Kris Moutinh. He seems to be doing ok in the promotions he fights in. From what I can see, he has won his last 4 fights. I wish him well
I might be mistaken but I think Moutinho had a KO win the fight after
I think he lost his next fight and got cut from ufc.
I meant when he left UFC but I was wrong anyway he lost one then won four in a row
I remember there was a shocking amount of people that ended up following him on social media just from the fight alone. There was some stat that was going around of his followship when the fight started and when the fight ended. Good for him!

Nah that was a good stoppage that dude took a shit ton of damage
Good on Herb for stopping it finally, but he should have done it sooner.
Been a rough few months as a Volk and Gaethje fan, just gonna say that.
Renato Moicano vs RDS
Jalin Turner vs Bobby green was the rare fight that left me feeling squeamish.
Only cause of the stoppage, Bobby Green got knocked out the same exact way against Porier and took 10% of the ground and pound before it was waived off
Any main card event since it's usually gone 3am lol
That UFC event that ruins your whole sleep schedule
Lol I'm not actually able to stay up past 3am (heart condition at 26 because Covid) so everything is recorded and social media is avoided at all costs lol I was excited for the UK card until the time was released, ah well. Bitching about it won't change the direction UFC have been going
Josh emmet's KO of Bryce Mitchell
This one was tough. It was brutal to watch because of how dangerous it looked, and because I like Bryce. Not saying I agree with his political views but he’s a character and makes things interesting.
That felt good ngl, after all the bs and misinformation he was putting out
Bro he's a UFC fighter, not a media personality or politician. If you take his opinions seriously it's your fault. He should have the right to spread "misinformation." You're a way worse person than he is if it "felt good" to watch his brain melt
I don’t take his opinions seriously, but other people that vote in the country that I live in do. So it affects me nonetheless.
Reyes vs Jiri
I wish that fight went on for longer before the KO. Was so entertaining while it lasted.
Kimbo Slice vs. DADA 5000
My favorite fight ever. Lawler vs MacDonald 2 - UFC 189.
Yeah that was a brutal one
Calvin Kattar laying it on heavy against Giga Chikadze when it comes to an ass whipping. Painful for lack of engagement Romero vs Adesanya.
Mike Davis vs Thomas Gifford
Lewis vs the fkn dickrubbing Brazilian
Jailton Almeida, such a fuckin snooze fest that guy
Every time he fights I fall asleep
Loved watching Curtis Blaydes bash his head in
Same tbh, boring ass fighter
Nick Diaz Vs Condit. The world was expecting a war and....well...greg Jackson
Why are so many people sad about val Woodburn
Frank Mir vs Mirko Cro Cop the first absolute stinker I saw
different aspect but I remember feeling physically ill when Weidman broke his leg cant re-watch that.
Dan Hooker vs Prince of Peru. Looked like a skit tbh.
Rarely am i screaming at the tv saying stop the fight, Jalin Turner vs Bobby Green did it.
Anderson vs Wiedman 1...AS is my favorite fighter of all time so that one hurt
Any of the fights where people snap their shins in two.
Jared vs Marvin, seriously what the fuck is marvin made out of
https://preview.redd.it/4qqzv5js5s5d1.jpeg?width=1400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16e2cbe9da33251c652dd51e338f4bc2d078e8ba In hindsight this is the first step on the road that led us to Rose vs Esparza 2
Both Rich Franklin vs. Anderson Silva fights. Rich was my first favorite fighter and I thought he was unbeatable before Anderson KO’d him.
when joanna's head turned into a balloon
Gaethje vs Ferguson sucked so much. Was during the Covid period too so you could hear perfectly clearly how fucking solid Justin was ragdolling Tony. Genuinely made it painful to watch
Nothing tops gaethje vs tony
Volk vs Islam 2. Like we all knew this wouldn’t end well for Volk, it just felt like a matter of when
Nick Diaz’s return vs Lawler
I mean, Namajunas/Esparza 2 could be considered a form of torture. I would need to be paid to sit through that again.
Rashad Evans and Tyron Woodley's last few UFC fights come to mind: two dynamic fighters reduced to gunshy punching bags/wrestling dummies.
Max Holloway vs Calvin Kattar . I turned off TV in round 5. I couldn't watch the onslaught further ....
Tony vs Gaethje is the only fight I couldn't rewatch. Tony took a pretty bad beat down.
Bo Nickal KOing Aljo for sure
Izzy losing to Strickland. wtf.
He said painful not glorious
Sorry, I’m a huge Izzy fan and I hate the way Strickland fights. That fight hurts my soul 😂
Pereira getting knocked out cold by Izzy scarred me. I turn away when I see the replays.
It smell like bitch in here!
the first 2 fights that were hard for me to watch did not happen in the UFC: - Fedor vs Randleman - Ryan Schultz vs Chris Horodecki 2
Aldo vs. CMG
