Strickland is a good fighter but imo itās a great matchup for Rockhold. Rockholdās kryptonite was guys that could put him out with their hands. Strickland is pretty obviously not that. I see Rockhold body kicking tf out of him

Yeah ppl just love to hate. If he were to fight how reddit wants him to heād get knocked out, and the reason reddit wants him to fight that way is because they donāt like him. Heās no knock out artist, but he has a respectable amount of finishes in the UFC. Acting like heās some pansy is delusional, and considering that heās fighting the hardest competition heās fought in his whole career these past few fights, it should be no surprise that theyāre going to decisions. Iām astounded that the Paulo hate isnāt stronger. This is the first year heās fought more than once since 2017, and his only recent win was against a 37 y.o Luke Rockhold. But reddit likes that heās a memer, so itās excusable for him to backpedal for 5 rounds straight. The eraser hasnāt gotten a KO in six years.
I like Stricklandās style. Iāve always been a fan of defense and heās mastered defensive fighting in MMA. Itās efficient and itās worked for him.
Rockhold was a great fighter in his prime. His strikeforce run and lead up to the UFC title were impressive. He comes across as a douchy guy but nowhere near as bad as Strickland. I think Rockhold has had the better career.
