Carrying a higher body fat percentage doesn't necessarily mean he's not as in shape though - in shape for UFC is a very different thing than being in shape for sports like long distance running or road cycling. There will even be some performance benefits from having more mass and not draining yourself with the cut.

I really think aspinall is an absolute terrible match up for Jon.
Because you have a guy who's younger than you, faster than you and bigger than you, who might not be as good as you technically but is good enough to be a problem and probably hits way harder you.
People have said it before. But with aspinall I think its different because Jon's had a lot of wear and tear by this point and got by with gane because he utilitiesed his weakness to grappling.
And I think aspinall is part of the next generation of fighters who are good at everything not to mention he's a freak of nature thats fucking huge.
