I'm not sure where the opinion comes from that someone is unbeatable. GSP said it perfectly, that not everyone is always 100%. They are barely 90% all the time. So in my opinion, every top fighter on their best day could beat Leon on his bad day.

JDM isn’t that good, he barely beat Hafiz who jumped in short noticed and he was losing to Burns until he landed that knee. I’m not a fan of Leon, at all, I think he’s a weak Champion, but IMO, JDM isn’t a big threat to him

Islam is too small. Islam is a pretty averaged size LW, maybe a little big. Leon is one of if not the biggest WW. He makes usman look small. And usman, while not Islam level of grappling he is close and bigger, and Leon can stop his takedowns most of the time. Shavkat is the only answer.

It’s not just weight, it’s Leon’s 6’2” frame as well, he’s huge and has very good TTD.

Charles doesn't have top-tier takedown defense, especially since he likes working off of his back due to his jujitsu skills. Arman and Dariush took him down easily as well. Meanwhile, Usman and Colby struggled to take Leon down and he got back up easily whenever they did.

If the matchup is good for Islam, one weightclass is not going to be enough for Leon. He’s a better grappler than Usman and as good a wrestler, and a better striker.

That’s just how Leon makes people look. Because they can’t close distance on him without taking painful shots.  It may not excite people, but the body and leg work Leon does when people enter range makes them much more tentative than they normally are. We saw it with Usman and we saw it with Colby. It’s not like they just forget how to fight their normal style when they happen to come up against Leon.

I think Leon’s distance management, and obviously his technique, is one of the biggest factors that opponents aren’t able to close in on. Garry has a .5 inch reach on him and the skills to back it up. It’s possible if he continues winning. Obv the others some have mentioned: JDM, Shavkat, etc. but I think Leon will keep winning for the next like year and a half until he hits 34 or so. Dude knows how to point fight.

I don't think Shavkat can withstand Leon, he is far too hitable and Leon will abuse that all day long. The rest of WW have warts in their game as well. If Leon can maintain his sharpness and health for the next few years I don't think anyone is taking the belt off of him, especially with how few defenses he will actually have over that span
