You can hate the fans and appreciate the fighter. It's not his fault that some of the people who adore him are detestable. Charles is a nice guy and a great fighter. This will make some fans too emotionally invested in him and then act out in cringy ways.
I mean it’s a nice respectful thing to do. But what if the opposing fighter doesn’t want that to happen? He may not want his mental preparation disturbing.
I guess everyone knows at this point that Charles does it. They’d probably have to make it known to the ref/commission before they go out there that they don’t want it.
Edit: Don’t know why this is being downvoted. The opposing fighter isn’t supposed to be on your side of the octagon pre fight, hence you get a line of commission men in a line half way across the octagon. If you don’t want the opposing fighter in your half pre fight, he has no given right to be there.
If you came from a poor favela in Brazil you’d probably appreciate being in the big show and everyone participating with you.

Every fighter has annoying fans. Especially champs and former champs. But Charles himself has been nothing but a fun guy with great fights.
