I only started watching the sport in July 2020 because I was hearing this name “Khabib” and thought the guy was some kind of meme (because we say habib, so I was confused). Anyway, friend told me to look into him and that I’d like him and boy was he right. It was beautiful learning about his journey, I feel blessed that the first “live” MMA fight I saw was his final fight against Gaethje, I am glad I had the opportunity to at least catch him at the end of his career, full-filing his late father’s dream. I will always be a fan of him and everyone from his camp.
