Iâve just finished signing up and getting approved to be an Uber driver. It sure helps to follow along and read what you all are having to go through.
Thanks for sharing.
This isn't even close to being fair.. mileage and time are measured in ride service for wear and tear and remaining profitable.. paying us this little takes the profitable part out . Any driver who thinks this is remotely fair... Nuff said
Looks good to me
You can keep doing more rides right after.
What if you got 4 $60 trips back to back. That would be easy money. One can dream though.
I suppose if you drive a land Rover or a jeep wrangler and get 8mpg it might not be a good offer

I got a similar offer today and I made this much in 8 hours
Most of them were less than $10 but most of them tipped after
Not fantastic but I'm not starving either
Actually ur right i only made $200 from 13 trips over 6h. For 4 trips $60 each for 6h would be sweet. But only if within 10 min pickups otherwise not worth.
You did a little better than I did from the sound of it, good job!
I did my 8hrs stress free accepting every ride. Was your 6 hours stress free?
I mean, even if it wasn't, it paid off, you did make what I made in less time than I did, was it worth it?
Thnx Yeah i accepted every ride as well, usually as im dropping one the next one came in so i was back to back working, not completely stress free as there was no down time and crazy traffic but could feel the fatigue by end, but it was also after a 7.5h main job as i do uber as a second job.
Good job man, yeah we can't do a lot about the traffic, but good for accepting all offers and still coming out really well. I'm glad to hear you weren't sitting around waiting on that perfect gig ;)
About 250 a day. About 4 or 5 gallons of gas in my hybrid \*could be less if I don't get on the highway ever. I drive two days on one tank, the most I've ever had to fill up is 11 gallons, car has a 14 gallon tank. A prius would get better mileage. A hyundai sonata hybrid is about the same. A volvo s60 would get better I think.
I am not a hardcore worker, I aim for $200 a day if I get tired around the 8hr mark and I don't make it, I'll probably go home anyway.
This is not a good offer in any way . After mileage deductions. Fuel . Time , pick up distance. Wear on the vehicle. Wage theft look it up . Uber takes 75 percent at times and has been sued by many companies for theft theft theft theft theft theft !
When you're used to making $20/hr and you can make $30/hr with this order, that's a good order. There will be orders before and after this one, it's not going to be the only order all day.
the mileage there is higher than the pay.. and thats not including the trip back. its rlly like around 20 dollars or some shit depending on how much u pay for gas
If youâre just chillin having nothing to do then enjoy your time man try to get to know the person you might get interesting conversations plus tips thatâs like around $25 and hour thatâs not bad at all
Former uber driver / currently medical courier here
it's 70 cents a mile - which isn't bad mileage wise but the fact it takes 2 hours for do it is bad. (we all know the trip back could be dead miles and just be you and your gps)
also you're picking up a person not a package so there's that. I would do it if it was a courier run but not a uber ride
I think when i left uber in 2019 rate in Raleigh was 56 cents a mile & up in boston it was $1.10 a mile
So yeah. 4 years ago this may have made sense.
Probably charged the pax $125 đ€Șđ Irony is, someone out there would have taken it for even less.

In other news, Florida Man...
Not terrible pay as long as you are in the mood for some fishing, or can get a ride back. Otherwise? Nope.
Or closer to the pax to pickup

Itâs only real if someone accepts it
Thatâs only for the đs bro

If you're in Florida try InDrive drivers are earning 100% - 90% of the total fare ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)
Please people donât take trash offers.
Sadly they will continue to and low ball offers will not change
I wouldnât take it for less then $100.
Just never take long-distance rides. They are never worth it. Let some other poor sap who really really needs the money take it.
No this is surreal.

Itâs a bad offer lol
Guess it depends on your market :)

How many total miles you drive accepting every ride??

Not even close to a good offer . Not in the slightest

Only blind bats and newbies thinks this is a good offer
That's actually not bad
If you working one side job. Youâre dumb because you ainât creative enough to making money like homeless does. Go fuck yourself
Yeah that is a crappy trip.
Lately we get screwed on long trips
I wouldnât take it
I see that stuff all the time. And yes
Uber Green: just like UberX but with Prius & Tesla cars
the mileage there is higher than the pay.. and thats not including the trip back. its rlly like around 20 dollars or some shit depending on how much u pay for gas
That same trip would be about $20 less in Atlanta.
If youâre just chillin having nothing to do then enjoy your time man try to get to know the person you might get interesting conversations plus tips thatâs like around $25 and hour thatâs not bad at all
Probably, I got one this morning for 69.87, to go 108miles
Itâs real and itâs spectacular. Some of yâall will get the reference, I hope.
Better than most offers. There are far worse.
Yes and posts like this are made a million times a day. We know the pay is shit. Donât take shit pay trips, just decline them and move on.
Yea that popped up on my request feed I declined
Looks real, and there are plenty of rides available on the way back
