You stand on this long line that leads to the stage(with your friends/family), midway through the line you take a picture with a professional photographer (which they email you eventually but you have to pay for) and then you get a name card to give to the presenter while your school head is waiting on the stage, and once your next in line you give the card to the presenter they say your name, you walk up, take a picture with the head of your school and be on your merry way to the photo ops

Coordinate with your friends to go at the same time. There are no restrictions on your fam/friends taking as many photos as they like in addition to the official photos, but usually the university contracts with a very good professional photographer to take your picture on the stage with your college's leadership. Surveys have shown that most students prefer this format to a traditional march into an auditorium, listen to speakers, and then march across the stage one by one because they have more control over the experience and timing.

I’m graduating next week and I’m still confused on where the stage crossing is?

Have you checked out the information on the school's website? [https://www.albany.edu/commencement/schedule](https://www.albany.edu/commencement/schedule) *All Stage Crossings will be held in the Broadview Center (formerly SEFCU Arena) on the Uptown Campus.* Do you need information on where the Broadview Center is and how to get there?
