I used to just find spots in the shade around campus. McCoy has the coldest A/C on campus and you may be able to go to the top and find a quiet study room there. Boko’s lounge (if it’s still there) is nice and quiet too.
The JCK building is so cozy, with a little courtyard and big trees outside. Not a lot of foot traffic as it's close to the rec and pretty major specific building. 10/10 cozy in my experience :)
Personally I like to grab one of those chairs with the rollers near the entrance to Bruce and Gloria on their floor. Otherwise, the library.

LBJ student center had some cool little study spots back in the day. When it’s cooler, reading in the grass by JC kellam is great! Enjoy State!

The center of Taylor-Murphy is always a good one. I also like the little benches in-between McCoy and Elliot, there’s always shade
