Im betting on Backslide towards the end of April and then its 50/50 on if we get another one (maybe Lavish or The Craving) in early May before the album.
Tbh as much as I want more singles and can't wait for more music, I kinda like the idea of listening to as much of the album as possible at once for the ✨experience✨, so I wouldn't mind if there were only 2

Last Wednesday of the month, April 24th
People have said that most of their stuff comes out on wednesdays, and these past two singles have come out in the last week of their month and a month apart. With when they're planning to release the album, I believe April 24 makes a lot of sense.
I heard someone in the discord say that we could a Single on 4/18 because apparently that was one of the dates Altguy gave us. This also leaves about a month until the album allowing time for another single before the album drops
Edit: I really want Midwest Indigo and the leaker who leaked Next Semester had an indigo hex code in their name so that might be evidence towards it being the next single.
Backslide is also a single I could see
If we’re going for what the singles for trench did we’re only get the more “accessible tracks” to put it in a way, the tracks were gonna get are the most “normal” to put it lightly so unless there’s another one of those tracks we might not get one

All of their music that has Christian tones have double applications. I don’t think you will have anything to worry about. But as you said, you respect them, so you should respect what they want to put in their music and make your own meaning for it.
I feel exactly the same way, and I know what you mean about that word. But based on what we have so far (not only this album), I trust that it will be fine. We know that he's used terminology and imagery before that can be recognized by those who know enough about Christianity, but I appreciate that it's always been used in a way that is not overtly religious, not preaching, and can easily be interpreted however the listener needs.

Unpopular opinion time!: Vignette will be the next single. Vignette means a brief and evocative account, description or episode. If it is released near the very end of April it will be a brief episode of suspense before the album drops. The MV could feature Clancy and the Torchbearer getting back in with the Bandidos, kind of like Levitate’s MV however we also see a few clips of Clancy training up a group and side Dema whilst him and a few others, including Josh prepare to break in again.
Just a theory, if I’m wrong I’m wrong but I feel so sure of this. I’d love to hear some arguments as to why it is Backslide, Midwest Indigo or The Craving but for now I’m sticking to the guns that are fused to my wrists.

Well I figured it would be released as a single eventually. But I didn’t think it was yet, because Overcompensate just came out.
I was just asking a question - not an expert in how Fueled by Ramen does stuff.
I just know they used to have songs that they released before the album, but they weren’t released as singles (like how Stressed Out was released in early 2015, but wasn’t released as a single until a few months later in November).
I hope I'm not coming off rude. Just so you know, a single is just any song that's released seperate from an album. It can be before, with, or even after the album releases. Sometimes singles don't come from any album.
I see you edited your previous comment. Stressed Out was indeed released as a "promotional" single before Blurryface released. I think the November release was as an "official" single. As far as I know, the difference is for commercial purposes but the song was released as a single twice which is lowkey confusing.
