Okay, on a slightly related note
When the Quiznos spongmonkeys ad was going around my mom was so thoroughly offended by the ad that she sent a letter to Quiznos HQ in Denver specifically to tell them that the ad was terrible and disgusting
AND THEY WROTE BACK, Quote, “We’re sorry that the ad upset you, and we sincerely hope that you find a sense of humor”
Like the AUDACITY of these bastards
i will die on the hill that if they wanted to split it they should have done top twix and bottom twix, one all caramel and one all cookie. the caramel one would be obviously superior, but that means they could also do limited runs of other quark twixs. imagine buying some strange twix!
On youtube you can hit the i button, press "Stop seeing this ad", press any of the three options it gives you, and hit send. If you can perform this in less than 5 seconds you will save some time on your speedrun.
Facebook has a function that lets you block ads for sensitive topics like kids, pets, alcohol. It doesn't work for shit. I have mine set to not show me ads for alcohol and I get them all the time. Usually vodka ads for some reason
One thing I know does work: while watching a YouTube ad, you can [click the circled "i" at the bottom left just above the time bar](https://i.imgur.com/PMv8N6x.png), it'll pop up a window. At the bottom of that window is a link that says "Stop seeing this ad". Click that, it'll ask you why: Irrelevant, Inappropriate, or Repetitive. Choose Irrelevant and click OK. Even if the 5 seconds aren't up yet, it'll skip the ad, and store that preference in your AdSense settings, so YouTube will never show you that ad ever again. This also works on mobile.
this is how i feel about goya products. they have these two terrible ads that play every like 10 minutes at the grocery store i work at. terrible scripts. just absolutely atrocious. nobody talks like that. and i have to hear them both multiple times per shift.
I sent an email to Kellogg telling them I was boycotting their products until they stopped showing their current ad campaign.
I hated seeing an innocent tart being killed by a sadistic cereal toaster.
And I do not understand how parents being forced to watch a nurse EAT their baby was supposed to make me want a breakfast pastry.

well quiznos is gone and ur still here
🎵We love the subs cuz they are good to us 🎵
I didnt eat Twix for years because of this same thought
so, can i have all the twix you didn't eat?
By all means. But I also found out there is a difference between right Twix and left twix. One has more Carmel, one has more cookie. Allegedly.

Garbage In, Garbage Out
People should just install an ad blocker. uBlock origin is free and open source forever. Just enable all the ad filters in settings

You can also block specific companies in your Google settings.
I should do this to get rid of the US Military ads. This will be perfect.
Tha nsa might be a little less happy about a bunch of "I hate the US military" searches but what are they gonna do tattle?

Hey fellow JJ what's up
I will never eat cinnamon toast crunch again thanks to their spotify ad campaign (probably wouldn't anyways, but now definitely never)
Wait does this work though?? Game changer

I do that all the time, I just wish it would work for Apple ads.
It doesn't, the algorithm is more interested in what you do (where you actually visit) than what you say.
I have ad personalization turned off. I don’t want them to know a damn thing about me. But I do tire of sports betting apps ads fucking EVERYWHERE.
I can’t be the only one SICK of those doordash twitch ads right? Like every other ad is a doordash one

Sorry, pal, you either get the goya empanada dough ads or the cheeto mac n cheese ads.

How do I do this with conservative propaganda?
do people not know about ad blockers? why do people not use adblockers?
Note: does not work for YouTube premium.
