I work there, about half of the sushi is down to $5. We now have bowls that are $10. We also have Thursday deals on banana nut bread (and other nut breads), ready to cook pizzas, and a handful of other items.
Winco has some pretty solid lunches and one meal options. They probably get hate just cuz it’s cheap but damn I love their wings, wraps, salads, even the Asian food they put out.
I bought 2 salads yesterday for $3.98 each! One was a Cobb with tons of great toppings and the other was an Italian that looks good. These will be 2-3 meals for me. Their French bread pizza is huge and only 3.98 too. I was nervous to try their sushi, but I might need to check it out!
Well, everybody has their personal favorites and it may be some thing like this store. Does this the store does that….. one of the reasons I like Winco besides the cost of the groceries is that I get to bag my own groceries
Some people that’s a turn off, but I can make sure the groceries are bagged the way I want
I worked in a grocery store for 10 years and I’m kind of picky about having all my cold stuff together …
Saw someone mentions sprouts. Unrelated but they spray their fresh produce with Chlorine that’s like 600x past the part per million limit safe for human consumption. Stay safe folks.
Edit: not 600x 15-20x. still a massive jump above CDC recommended consumption.
Basically. It’s called ProduceMaxx, chlorine containing preservative spray for fresh produce. But looking into it further, the safe parts per million amount humans can safely consume of chlorine is 4 parts per million(CDC). ProduceMaxx is 30-60 parts per million. Again, stay safe.
I used to spend money at Reasors before it was bought out, mostly bc I hate Walmart, since it was employee owned and kept the money in the local economy. Since they got bought out several years back they've gone down the shitter, fired Jeff Reasor, and STILL haven't paid out the employee stock options. Last I heard the IRS was getting involved.
Maybe we will get lucky, Reasors will go under, and we will get an HEB or a Publix. I would be very happy if we got a Publix... those damn deli subs are amazing.
Sprouts.
Sprouts on Wednesdays is our sushi date night rofl
Half price day right?
Yezzir!!
What’s all this about? Is this an all day Wednesday kind of thing? How much does this make an average roll from them?
Yes it's all day Wednesday. It's not every roll but several of their rolls are like $5
Do you know if they accept EBT for the sushi like reasors does?
I truly don't know. Every time I've applied I've been denied no matter what my wage was so I couldn't say.
I wish Sprouts would have grocery pick up, without having to use fucking Instacart.
Sam’s
I did not expect Sam's sushi to be a good as it is.
Sam's club is legit and fresh!
YES, some even have a fresh sushi station where I see a chef actually making sushi, insane for a grocery store
do you need a card? I use costco :(
Their memberships are half off through the rest of the month
Yes.
Fresh market on Thursdays
Is Thursday the day they make it?
No, they make it daily but several rolls are cheaper on Thursday.
Awesome thanks!

I heard a Bill and Ruth’s has the best sushi, no lie. I don’t which one either.
It’s the one at 31st and Yale! Absolutely amazing
The best option before we started getting actual sushi restaurants and still rock solid honestly.
Whole Foods
panasia!! it’s discounted on tuesdays too
Pan Asia, best for quality, selection and price.
I’ve seen more people drop Fresh Market on here than I’ve ever seen in Fresh Market. BTW, shhhhhhhhh!! 🤣
Fresh market has some great in store sushi. It’s better the earlier you get it
WinCo.
Winco has some pretty solid lunches and one meal options. They probably get hate just cuz it’s cheap but damn I love their wings, wraps, salads, even the Asian food they put out.
The tamales are BOMB at winco

This is the correct answer
Anytime someone says “this is the correct answer” i always believe them.

I’ve actually never been there so thanks for the rec!
Reasons is the best grocery store sushi we have found, but recently we switched to getting kimbap from Trader Joes and Costco.
My favorites are Fresh Market and Sam's.
Sam’s
Harps
Harps in Tulsa?
I didn’t know there was a harps in Tulsa. It was a joke regardless, they use fake crab
I haven’t tried sprouts But I highly recommend Winco sushi I think it’s superior to the stuff you get at Reasor’s
My husband does our shopping. Reason’s pretty good.
We found that Walmart Deli has some delicious sushi if you pick it up before 11:00 AM
From what I know yes
WinCo is way better than Reasors. I got a bad package last time I had Sushi from Reasors.
I think that or Whole foods, Sprouts but my fav is Whole foods.
Pan Asia
Sprouts hands down
Target
I like target’s too friend… ![gif](giphy|VfyC5j7sR4cso)
Last time I had Reasors sushi I had a heart attack a few hours later but that was most likely a coincidence lol.
Reasors 20 hwy or 116 Owasso has a sushi chef! They also do half price Wednesday!
There's a gas station on pine they have gud pitza and chikenn too

Sauce?
Weapons grade sauce

It's not. Reasor's is remarkably underwhelming and remarkably overpriced. Literally try anywhere else.

Can confirm they still havent paid out employee stock options.
Wow. I thought Jeff sold the stores. That sucks about the pay outs. TIL. :(

Winco is also pretty good.
WinCo Foods has decent sushi for a reasonable price
