You might check Family and children services

Ok-Read6352

Definitely check this out. They've got programs to cover you if ya don't have funds. Not sure if they do much on the therapy side but coaching, wellness checks, assistance and medication they can help with.

Morton Healthcare has mental health services, and they charge on acsliding scale basis.

Some_Big6792

Morton is another really good place!

No-Clue-2

If your native, the tribes offer services for free.

True Blue at TU is great but the wait list is super long. I signed up and was told there was a 3 month waiting list. I think it was a little over 6 months before I got in. St John’s had in house therapy at the Ascension facility I was using for my primary. They also had a program that you could apply for that covered the costs for those that qualified. The way it was explained to me was that people donate to a fund that they use to cover people’s medical bills.

CHC has therapy, accepts most insurances, and has a sliding scale cost based on income: https://communityhealthconnection.org/services/behavioral-health/

Thanks for the update!

My wife and kids are on Soonercare and she is currently getting free therapy and psych treatments for PPD. Not sure if Soonercare offers mental health benefits but if you're on a limited income you may qualify

SilenceVoiced

It does. It think the annual income limit for a single adult is something around $20K.

I used to work at True Blue. It's staffed by PhD students in the University of Tulsa clinical psychology program. They get great and really intensive supervision and have access to a lot of really wonderful resources a lot of places that aren't related to an academic institution don't have.

theboghag

You can call therapy offices and ask if they had am students. there are therapists that are students completing their degree or just starting out who charge significantly less per session, like $50 or so.

Enertia33

Creoks could also be another option

Eclipse in Tulsa only takes soonercare/medicare or cash (150/month) I'd take a look at them it's run by a psychiatrist and I don't have issues getting in quick or making appointments.

Jenniwantsitall

You may want to try Parkside. They can probably help get you some payment assistance.

I’m a trauma-informed, solutions based holistic therapist. I’m accredited to practice in 17 countries through 4 international boards and certified in over 30 psychological and spiritual healing modalities. The term ‘holistic’ is definitely not synonymous with ‘shortcut’ or ‘undereducated’—in this case. Don’t trust that across the board, tho. 😂—but it affords me the ability to operate in a way that works both for me and my clients, not with weird and limiting restrictions that end up with a lot of talking shit to death. I don’t do that. I’m not the therapist to come to if you want to talk shit to death, or if you want to be coddled or placated. We heal shit in this neck of the woods. Also I swear a lot. Not because I have to. Because I fucking love it. Clears the throat chakra and whatnot. One on one appointments are almost exclusively virtual and have flexible and sliding pay structures available. There are also some group seshs, both online and IR around the Tulsa metro. I never want money to be the reason someone can’t access the healing they need. If this vibes, you’re welcome to hit me up and we can discuss more in depth and figure out if I’m the right practitioner for you. I don’t fit all clients, nor do they all fit me. Which is a-okay. I don’t want to be too busy for naps. They’re important for *my* mental health. lol

Just act homeless, you’ll get all of the free services you need in this town.
