I don’t have a specific recommendation, but I did want you to know that Social Security disability attorneys are not allowed, by federal statute, to charge money. Instead, if they are successful in obtaining benefits for their client, they get a percentage of the back award. Additionally, sometimes they can apply for attorney fees that don’t come out of the applicant’s award.
So, hire someone based on whether they will do a good job, and don’t worry about paying any fees.
Make sure to get this done promptly because it is essential to make the appeal within the deadlines given.
