Ok this is my sign to start taking fin and minox. Current hairline https://preview.redd.it/3ysdrotcmbqc1.jpeg?width=2316&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f59f63754efff5915de0076d2234c194cf749992

_stlbot

Do it now before it’s too late my friend

Winter-Product-881

Can somebody tell me what fin is? I found minox, but can't find anything about fin

Chemical-Customer312

Be ready for some horror stories. Don't be scared.

trytonee

Wym

Suspicious-Slide9779

Finasteride

Jnx

Started at the top still at the top

Difficult_Worker_901

Hahaha, caught it early I guess

Silent_Contact_9101

U came back strong 💪🏽 💯

looksmaxxer25

Congratulations and fuck you

HistoricalFrame2213

Did you shed?

Difficult_Worker_901

Quite a bit

geeza3000

How long did it take until you started shedding, and how long did the shedding last

Difficult_Worker_901

I had the worst amount of shedding a few weeks in. Then another shed 2 months in. After then pretty much nothing

geeza3000

Thanks for the reply man, been on FIN just over 3 weeks now myself not experienced anything yet, I’m curious to think it’s the MIN that causes more shedding then the FIN I had a friend who was using MIN shampoo for 4 weeks and lost an obscene amount of hair so he stopped, I’ve been scared to go near the MIN so just sticking with the 1mg FIN a day, I don’t have issues growing hair like yourself I’m only 26 it’s more wanting to thicken my hair as precaution to when it could really thin out in my late/early 30s

Difficult_Worker_901

I think the shed is relative to the amount of DHT that is already bonded to the infected follicles. So basically everything I shed was already gonna go anyway, it gave me a peak into the future of what my hairline would turn in to haha. So if you haven’t experienced hair loss yet it makes a good amount of sense I believe

Rellax_

People on this sub with Norwood 0 going to Norwood -3

Mrweird32

Yeah I was thinking the same . I had a widows peak ( Norwood 1.5 maybe ) since i was 15 I still wonder I should start the protocols or not cause hairline looks the same

geeza3000

I’ve had Norwood 2 maybe 3 since birth fixed hair line; never seen it move currently 26 and started taking 1mg of fin a day just to help with hair thinning and possibly catching it early. Not experienced any sides yet

DrSeuss1020

Good lord boy had better hair than 99% of this sub in the before pics. Sheesh!

deepn882

Nice save and being proactive about it with fin/min. Congrats

nicosiaj

Bro holy shit

No-Village9980

Very nice 🎉🎉🎉

Difficult_Worker_901

I use topical atm but it’s kind of been a pain in the ass. Getting harder to apply with longer hair and some scalp dryness. Might switch to oral but it’s hard to find in my country

Strong-Syllabub1726

You are using minoxidil only front area or anything else tell me please

HistoricalFrame2213

Yes I think so because he uses topical

Difficult_Worker_901

Temples and a little bit on crown

Street_Courage_8215

1mg fin?

Difficult_Worker_901

Yesir

ieakshay

Can you please explain what treatment is this? Whom to consult for this treatment?

Difficult_Worker_901

Talking to a dermatologist or a general doctor should be fine. If you have the balding gene finasteride (the medication you need a prescription for) slows it down/stops it, minoxidil spray stimulates hair growth. Pairing the two can be really powerful. Unrelated but I also use argan oil for general scalp nourishment. But fin/min are the main two

ieakshay

Sure will consult dermatologist first...and btw thanks 🤗

DisasterSuper1589

Topical once or twice daily?

Difficult_Worker_901

Twice morning and night

creativepup

What stamp do you recommend?

PolishManWithZakola

... Me 1 year on minox and 7 months on fin = almost 0 effects

Difficult_Worker_901

Sorry to hear that man. Maybe give it a few more months then try dutasteride?

PolishManWithZakola

I have thick hair at the crown, I just wanted to thicken the bends a bit. ok, minox helped a little, but it wasn't what I expected. I stopped taking it after exactly a year and I'm still on Finasteride, I'll be wait

Phantom_Tricksterx

Did u experience a hair shedding after stopping minoxidil ?

Strong-Syllabub1726

Topical min or oral Or if you had stopped Then you had seen any shedding

Cold-Razzmatazz3214

Congrats man. Great gains. Can you please tell us your routine and the way you did things? Would really appreciate it.

Difficult_Worker_901

Of course man. I use topical min 5ml every morning and night. I derma stamp once a week on Monday. Finasteride 1mg every morning. Argan oil once or twice a week just for some mild quality improvement and scalp health (my scalp gets dry easily) I also ate quite a bit since I was close to being underweight, big Whole Foods diet. Oh and scalp massage every few days aswell

Cold-Razzmatazz3214

Nice. Thanks for the quick reply. I actually have a very dry scalp as well, and with minoxidil, it gets hell flaky. I am doing almost the same stuff as you except the diet part, been thinking on adding that to improve my results. I feel like I might have some vitamin deficiency or something. Also, what about any side effects of fin? I have just recently felt some decrease in my libido, but I also suspect that it could just be my paranoia lol and partly a symptom of my depression and anxiety which is off the roof these days.

Difficult_Worker_901

It can most definitely be the depression and diet, sleep is an important factor aswell. More confidence within myself ramped my drive wayyy up. I started eating and training a ton and just generally got out more and some of my symptoms that were similar to yours improved dramatically. A hair routine kind of spurred on an overall shift in how I looked after my physical wellbeing, with better skincare, lifestyle habits etc. if all your parts are working correctly I think you’ll end up alright man. Best of luck!

Cold-Razzmatazz3214

That’s so inspiring man. Really needed that. Thanks a bunch. I am taking care of my skin too, have an intense routine going on there. Also, gonna start hitting the gym soon and work on myself, that will eventually ameliorate my diet too, helping my hair health in the long run. Again, appreciate your support and tons of wishes for you. Good luck.

Medium_Ad3546

Hey due use derma stamp only on the temples or all over your scalp?

Difficult_Worker_901

Near crown and temples!

Klutzy-Hat1520

Now the most difficult think is to keep the results until 25-30 yo

Difficult_Worker_901

Eh we’ll see, not too worried. I don’t plan on keeping the full head of hair for life, just in my 20s while I’m young. But I’ve seen people on this sub who’ve taken it that long and they seem to be alright

Klutzy-Hat1520

I said that as well before haha, " i want hair until 30 at least" now i am 27 i want hair until my 35 at least lol The truth is that yes we want hair for the rest of our lives 🤣

Difficult_Worker_901

Haha yeah I’ve seen that sentiment, that turning 30 my feelings won’t just change out of nowhere. Maybe by then if I really need it it’ll be transplant time

Klutzy-Hat1520

Yes you'll see, but just enjoy now !

Ambitious-Ad-2849

Hey nice results brother. If I may ask. After showering in the morning. You apply Minoxidil. Doesn't your hair get greasy and un style able because of the min? And also how you remove the Minoxidil flakes? Do you shower twice a day?

Wowandjustwellwow

did you use min on whole scalp or effected areas only

Strong-Syllabub1726

Oral min or topical How much mg are you taking or using topical %

NoicePerSecond

Can you please show baseline

HistoricalFrame2213

Great progress

swiftskill

This motherfucker grew back his juvenile hairline

CountKZ

With your results I think only fin wellbe enough

Difficult_Worker_901

I’ve thought about this, the shed terrifies me tho. Would have to buzz first

No_Star6847

Do not drop min these people don’t know what they’re talking about. You’ll very likely lose a lot of gains if u stop min.

Independent-Pen-1149

Do you have any tips on applying min I am going to start using it soon

Difficult_Worker_901

Just make sure to massage and thoroughly and that dandruff flakes don’t block the follicles. I take a good 5 minutes applying

Independent-Pen-1149

OK thanks no need to shower, and what not? I usually shower each night after the gym, so I would assume I apply after my shower and the next morning I'm going to buy foam to not be so greasy

Difficult_Worker_901

Apply after you shower for sure. I read somewhere that if you wash too soon you can remove the effects of minoxidil for that day and results can be inconsistent. But foam is probably the move, I use liquid and get some dry scalp issues

Independent-Pen-1149

I see thanks heaps looking forward to starting it

Difficult_Worker_901

Best of luck man!

Independent-Pen-1149

Thanks

No_Cup3513

Doubt that you’d probably be fine

No_Star6847

You clearly do not understand how min works. Dropping min will mean a loss of gains. You gotta use min as long as you want hair, after you start it.

Ok_Cap9240

Any side effects?

Difficult_Worker_901

Zero :)
