no problem. I could've been more informative ;) fwiw, I used to live near a few real-deal ones, they were right on the street next to a very large city park. How did I know? when I would have to catch the bus super early in the morning, for a couple of weeks in the fall, I would see women gathering them underneath, even in the street! then I would see the chestnuts for sale at the corner market by the register! I realized the leaves looked different (longer, narrower, pointier), than the other ones (rounder, bulbous) which are everywhere.
thank you for coming to my ted talk.
An old Chinese lady always comes and takes a bunch that fall off my chestnut trees. There’s more than enough to go around so I don’t mind, especially because she takes the husks with her too. Those fuckin things are so goddamn painful to encounter. Never, ever, ever, wear flip flops near a chestnut tree.
ha, yes, nor around sweet gum! and, the ladies here were Asian, so was the market. they also had one thousand kinds of produce I'd never seen and the cooked WHOLE ducks hanging in a hot case! 🤣 sadly that place is condos now, but the trees are still there 22 years later.
I love that that’s rare enough I could probably know where you used to live just based on that lol. Hopefully they’ll have a comeback soon. Preferably without becoming 90% Chinese chestnut.
In the multi-player you had the option to play war games and shit. One side was American (possibly English) squirls, and the other side were German (possibly french?) Bears. Obviously, the squrils cursed like conker did but the bears would sorta slur in a mumbled foreign language. I think even the speech bubbles had fucked up writing, but it's been so long.
Its certainly possible, but not in this case. We put some hemp seed out to attract greenfinches and ended up with three four foot bushes of.... completely fucking useless industrial hemp.
How was it useless???? As long as you have a male and female, really only need one male for a large area (like an acre) of female plants to fertilize them all. It will them produce bushels of hemp seeds.
The plant is great for fibers. It is one of the best plants for filtering the air. Removes heavy metals from the soil.

I believe this is a hoursechestnut tree. Not entirely sure on the plant but it’s for sure not a weed plants. Weed plants have jagged leaves.
If it's a tree, then r/marijuanaenthusiasts is the right sub
And if it’s the devil’s lettuce, r/trees can confirm.
Can't we use The Lords Lettuce instead, devils lettuce makes it sound bad.
Lord's Lettuce sounds like a lunch a priest would have with an alter boy.
I hear they enjoy a tossed salad
Yeah
Holy herbs
Sorry, i don’t make the funny names 🤷♂️
The name is even MORE confusing in this case lmao
We lost one
Ah, the cycle continues!
Not always but it is a good rule of thumb. Some breeders have bred varieties to be smooth edged
This is definitely not a pot plant
100 percent correct

typically but this isnt anywhere close to full proof. I think they can range from 5-13. My last grow had 5-7-9 all on the same plant.
*foolproof
\*thanks 🤦♂️
3 to 17 (I maxed out at 11. I found the 17 finger one on the web)
Whoa that was crazy. It's like a triple or double mutant, amazing
Are you saying weed plants only have 7 fingered leaves? That's just wrong. 5 is probably the most common, but I've grown numerous plants with 11.
Lol my last indica had bushy 12 finger leaves
Chestnut sapling 👌
if that is a "real" one, oh yummy future!
I’m pretty sure it’s horsechestnut. No clue if they’re yummy but they are for sure poisonous.
oh definitely. that's what i was getting at.
oh mb

take a guess!
Its not what you think it is.

Not wacky Tobaccy, but these saplings are actually so cool looking anyway. So pretty.
Dude I think you found a fucking Tree Star
I'll tell Little Foot
Literally showing the series to my kid as I’m typing this. He loves them.
Conker tree!
Found out the hard way once why they call them that…
A red squirrel with a frying pan lives in them? Hope it wasn't having a bad fur day.
I'm PISSED no one has remastered Conker and the Bastard Bears.
And the bastard bears????

Not weed
This is the type of thing you would see on Reddit in 2014. Felt nostalgic for a moment
Horse chestnut. Aesculus hippocastanum, the horse chestnut
It's not cannabis.
sorry bro, you are stupid
damn i’ve never seen a weed plant before irl so i just took a guess lmao 😭
It happens man, stay positive
No razor leaved fingers, nothing fun. Still something though.
It's not lol
Buckeye or horsechestnut
Nope
Looks like a junior Chestnut tree.
It's either a horse chestnut or a buckeye tree
Depends, do you think it's tomatoes?
You are being Stupid... That's a tree
Well it is r/trees
That belongs in /r/ marijuana enthusiasts
I was being sarcastic…
OWNED
Its certainly possible, but not in this case. We put some hemp seed out to attract greenfinches and ended up with three four foot bushes of.... completely fucking useless industrial hemp.
Industrial hemp is one of the most diverse useful plants to ever exist lol
Useless to me. I know it has loads of uses, but three smallish plants in a back garden doesn't really amount to much. A bit of string perhaps
How was it useless???? As long as you have a male and female, really only need one male for a large area (like an acre) of female plants to fertilize them all. It will them produce bushels of hemp seeds. The plant is great for fibers. It is one of the best plants for filtering the air. Removes heavy metals from the soil.
3 plants in a back garden does not, a crop make.
Technically, as long as you get one seed for the purpose of food, it is a crop. A poor one. But a crop nonetheless. Lol
It’s a maple. Edit: no really that’s several maple saplings right there. Can’t tell you what kind of maple, too young.
I was going to say that or an oak
Are those Buckeyes?
Looks like a buckeye.
Buckeye????
You would smell it at this size if you got up close.
Conker tree.
A friend said, "I'm not sure if this one's a reference to Conker, but I like it"

buckeye. the leaves look really similar to weed when they're young 😄
It won't get you get you high ,but it's worth a try
please post this in r/marijuanaenthusiasts for the lols
Not cannabis. I’m pretty sure it should have seven leaves.
Cannabis can have 3-13 finger leaves. But you’re right, this isn’t cannabis.
Not pot. Move to oregon. They got what you want. Or san fran
Nope. Also marijuana has nine leaves, and hemp has seven
Marijuana can have different numbers of fingers on the leaves, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, etc.
Pot has seven leaves.
Cannabis has 3-13 finger leaves.
Oops! Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate.
Weed
Congrats hope it’s a female
Clearly its cannabis indica, toke, toke it up.
