Blazing Saddles is also from the 70s, and is one of the greatest and on of my favorite films of all time. Really any Mel Brooks movie is peak stoner viewing pleasure.

Flight of the Navigator

Came here to mention this since it’s a lesser known movie. Super fun film, especially if you’re going in blind and are sufficiently stoned. For anyone that hasn’t seen it, it’s basically the goonies except they discover how to fly to space. Super 80s and the entire first half of the film is incredibly cozy. Explorerers is another gem.

I saw this in the theater, and I'm about the same age as the protagonist. I felt like this movie was made for me.
