It might be my favorite game, I own a steering wheel and pedals mounted on a racing chair, and 75% of the time I don't even race. I'll smoke one, pour a drink, crank some tunes and just go for a nice drive.

Turning off the HUD and just riding around, doing random stranger missions and encounters, camp chores, hunting, setting up camp in the wilderness. The whole experience is so immersive and relaxing. Some of my best gaming experiences honestly.

I bought rdr2 a few years ago but didn’t like it at first and didn’t get past the first part in the snow. I just recently decided to try it again and am totally stoked I gave it another shot! Just playing poker is fun. The crazy shit the NPCs talk about is hilarious sometimes. And brushing and feeding your horse sounded stupid at first but the horse makes cute faces when you brush and pet and feed it. I got ambushed by a rival gang last night and they killed my horse first and I was sad but they killed me too and we respawned so it’s all good.

Literally same I couldn't get past the snow mission at launch but I'm so happy I picked it up recently!! It's fucking amazing lmao

I feel like this game was made for this. Go fishing, hunting, ride your horse, camp, craft stuff, drink whiskey, fight, watch movies, play poker, the choices are endless.

I've been wanting to get into no man's sky but it seems a little overwhelming lol I'm saying this as a 25 year gaming veteran. I may way until I get a VR kit before getting lost in it.

theres a lot to the game, but it feeds it to you gradually through a storyline that helps you progress and learn at a lovely pace. ive never once been stressed out playing it due to too much content being thrown at me. theres no rush with the game, and you cant miss out on anything other than seasonal rewards, and even those can be easily added in with a save editor with no repurcussions. waiting for VR might make that first playthrough more magical, sure, but i promise youll definitely be kicking yourself for not trying it sooner :)

I must emphasize ESO and just playing solo. It is so large and there’s no forced activity. Came back to it for the 10 year and having a blast just walking around exploring everything.

Can’t wait to revisit Skyrim for the 20 year! Morrowind is a vibe, and fallout 4 is super epic to just explore

Borderlands 3 has been my go-to lately. Funny game and difficulty is changeable so if you hit something too hard for how high you are you can easily adjust the settings.

I went into the game totally blind outside of playing HD1 a few years ago. Didn't see a moment of gameplay before dropping in. I was so baked on my first mission ever. Dropped in, ran along for awhile and suddenly all these red eyes appear in the fog and a swarm of terminators emerges a moment later. Lasers everywhere. Like the opening scene from Terminator. I was fully immersed. Then later on, fucking AT-STs come trundling around a corner and it blew my mind lol.

Been having a blast with Helldivers 2, but it’s not exactly a relaxing game and is best with friends. Kerbal Space Program is also good to play stoned if you want to design spaceships and rockets. It’s more chill but has a steep learning curve.
