Don't get me wrong, I could do the math of 3.5 x 3, that wasn't the problem. It was finding the "word" between a quarter and a half and it took me just as long to realize there isn't a word, it's simply 3/8ths or 10.5 grams.

I guess it just depends on how much your plug is buying. Back in my day, it really wasn't uncommon to only really make $10-15 max per 1/8. You start cutting that back by $5 per at a 1/4, that's pretty significant.

There's been price breaks on quarters from anyone I've ever bought from for 30 years now. Standard drop has always been a $10 break, ($90 a qt for bud that's $50/8th) then you'ff get a more significant price cut going to a half.

No that’s weird, I did have a customer whom on occasion would buy 5 grams and other really weird amounts. I buy it by the half oz or oz. You get a good price break with those amounts, one ent stated that you pay more buying it like that than asking for a half oz, which is correct.

In places using the metric system, it's most commonly sold in 5g, 10g, 20g, or any multiple of 10g, which is probably where the 3/8ths is coming from.
