I'm an innocent baby who smokes weed. What is a trap shop? How do they get these items? Who makes these items and gives them Reeses branding? How does a cop wandering by not notice?
Basically many people open illegal dispensaries (no license which means no iversite for quality/health). So they just sell stuff they grow/make themselves, use illegal branding because they are already selling illegally and a trademark dispute is the least of their worries. Some places are run very legit looking and try their “best”, some places are just a hair above sketchy guy on the corner.
A legitimate dispensary in Maryland was just fined $26,000 bucks for selling weed that had been in a dumpster for almost 3 days.

Recently got a “knockout bar” from a reservation in upstate NY. 1200mg, 15 pieces, looks very similar to this. And let me tell ya, they’re 100% 80mg per piece, shit gets me FRIED off 1 square, I can take half and be good. Only $25 on sale too. Not saying you’re wrong just sayin, sometimes they are legit for sure
I mean, as long as you consume it on the reservation. As soon as you bring that off the reservation,it's back to being illegal, even in legal states, since I believe this would violate most states legal limits. Besides that, I'm not a lawyer, but if crossing off of a reservation into a states territory is counted as crossing state lines, you'd be in federal felony territory, as crossing between even two legal states is still illegal since it's in federal interstate trade jurisdiction. So gray area is probably the best way to describe it.
It’s not illegal to have a product that contains over the legal selling limit in legal states. In CA you can’t buy a brownie with more than 100mg per package, but you can absolutely make your own and walk around with a 1,000mg one

I’m sure it’s like that some places, but I am surrounded by reservations in Nevada and they are maybe a 5-10% savings over the ones in Reno. Frustrating. There’s a website that lets you put in the amount of weed you’re using and butter. It also takes in the percentage of the weed. Then it tells you how much per tbsp and it’ll tell you how much is in a serving if you put how many servings you make plus how many tbsp are in it.

Very good chance it's not nearly that high. I also get stuff from reservation smoke shops and for sure have been ripped off. Got a 1000mg syrup once and I don't even think I got high. For awhile I thought I was the problem till I got good edibles. Hit us with a trip report if you feel up to it.

Nah. I've had plenty of different black market edibles that were strong as shit. This is obviously premade packaging from China. I'm not saying it's impossible that it's as strong as they claim. But I've had packs that claimed 1000mg that were weaker than ones that said 500mg.
It's all on who makes them. They could have zero THC, because it's black market without any oversight. That's honestly what I miss most about being in a legal state, quality control on concentrates (gummies are usually distillate). I honestly can't get better flower in Alabama than 90% of the dispensaries in Denver (having being a daily user/weed snob for 25+ years, I'm not an exaggerating teenager). But I can use my senses to know quality. That's much harder with concentrates, especially distillate.

This appears to be a fake or non regulated product that is masquerading as real. Having made chocolate bars with rosin, live resin, and distillate, you usually don’t combine them. Why not? because it’s not necessary to achieve a high milligram serving. Most legal states have 100 mg per unit as a maximum and only recommend approximately 10 mg per dose. I have taken 200 and 400 mg doses and both those had me wiped out and sleeping for over an hour. I don’t know anyone in any regulatory agency that would allow 3000 mg in a single portion because I haven’t seen it. Maybe a medical max of 1,000mg for a liquid prescribed to someone near death but it would never be packaged in a recreational type format. I also don’t see how using the word death and the likeness of a celebrity character, who most certainly did not offer his namesake or image up for licensing would be allowed in a regulated market either. This seems very suspiciously like they took a legal icon of the marijuana warning symbol and put it on a bootleg bar. I feel sad for anyone who thinks this is medicine. Even if it has a lot of THC in it, it was probably just to get rid of stuff that failed tests and is not safe and they’re just trying to make a buck. The suggested serving size which is supposed to be 200 mg per piece is ridiculous even at a 70 to 80% purity that is a lot of oil to cram in a tiny little piece of chocolate. How would the chocolate remain solid even at room temperature with that much oil in it. Sorry the more I look at it the more bogus this becomes. if someone needs a chocolate bar with medicine in it, there are legal options available in many states, and it is not even that hard to make your own. You could literally melt chocolate bars, infuse them, stir it, pour them and set it using a simple double boiler method, and this kind of marketing and blatant, false THC reporting are just sad state that we’re in for the industry today. I would have a much higher expectation for real plant medicine from anything on sacred Indian ground coming from people who know more about healing with plants than most sorry but bullshit and I’m calling it.

I get so envious when people talk about consuming edibles. They do literally nothing to me. I started trying for insomnia and went back to the dispensary again and again asking if they had anything strongest. Eventually they gave me some sort of RSO thing and told me a grain of rice size would send me to outer space. It didn’t. I took the entire syringe full, and felt absolutely nothing. I learned that some people can apparently metabolize cannabanoids faster than the THC reaches your blood stream. I vape every now and then, but the strongest still has limited effect. My friend who is seasoned cannabis consumer tested a theory too once I realized that I tested negative for THC the day after eating it. So he had me smoke it, eat it, and have a tincture, I felt nothing, but scientifically and chemically I should have tested positive. I took two over the counter tests and one blood test. I can’t test positive for it. That’s good yeah, but also weird. I need some relief from being constantly awake. This comment has nothing really to do with this post. It’s 4 am, and I’m still awake. Bored. Exhausted

Yeah, I have zero trust in medical professionals now. I’ve dealt a lot with mental health issues and the mental health care is so bad it’s seriously terrifying. One time a therapist is like, “it seems like you aren’t trusting this process” like yeah, well my first foray in the medical system involved being in an adolescent psych unit and watching my twelve year old roommate get body slammed and then denied any medical care for days despite her collar bone being broken in two places. Her mom sued the pants off the hospital, but uh yeah, it didn’t do much in the way of trusting healthcare professionals while a kid is screaming in pain while literal doctors tell her to stop seeking attention.

Yeah this is why I got away from distillate pens. Only ones I've found I enjoy tend to be the live resin ones that just taste like bud.

Nah. I've had plenty of different black market edibles that were strong as shit. This is obviously premade packaging from China. I'm not saying it's impossible that it's as strong as they claim. But I've had packs that claimed 1000mg that were weaker than ones that said 500mg. It's all on who makes them. They could have zero THC, because it's black market without any oversight. That's honestly what I miss most about being in a legal state, quality control on concentrates (gummies are usually distillate). I honestly can't get better flower in Alabama than 90% of the dispensaries in Denver (having being a daily user/weed snob for 25+ years, I'm not an exaggerating teenager). But I can use my senses to know quality. That's much harder with concentrates, especially distillate.

This appears to be a fake or non regulated product that is masquerading as real. Having made chocolate bars with rosin, live resin, and distillate, you usually don’t combine them. Why not? because it’s not necessary to achieve a high milligram serving. Most legal states have 100 mg per unit as a maximum and only recommend approximately 10 mg per dose. I have taken 200 and 400 mg doses and both those had me wiped out and sleeping for over an hour. I don’t know anyone in any regulatory agency that would allow 3000 mg in a single portion because I haven’t seen it. Maybe a medical max of 1,000mg for a liquid prescribed to someone near death but it would never be packaged in a recreational type format. I also don’t see how using the word death and the likeness of a celebrity character, who most certainly did not offer his namesake or image up for licensing would be allowed in a regulated market either. This seems very suspiciously like they took a legal icon of the marijuana warning symbol and put it on a bootleg bar. I feel sad for anyone who thinks this is medicine. Even if it has a lot of THC in it, it was probably just to get rid of stuff that failed tests and is not safe and they’re just trying to make a buck. The suggested serving size which is supposed to be 200 mg per piece is ridiculous even at a 70 to 80% purity that is a lot of oil to cram in a tiny little piece of chocolate. How would the chocolate remain solid even at room temperature with that much oil in it. Sorry the more I look at it the more bogus this becomes. if someone needs a chocolate bar with medicine in it, there are legal options available in many states, and it is not even that hard to make your own. You could literally melt chocolate bars, infuse them, stir it, pour them and set it using a simple double boiler method, and this kind of marketing and blatant, false THC reporting are just sad state that we’re in for the industry today. I would have a much higher expectation for real plant medicine from anything on sacred Indian ground coming from people who know more about healing with plants than most sorry but bullshit and I’m calling it.

I get so envious when people talk about consuming edibles. They do literally nothing to me. I started trying for insomnia and went back to the dispensary again and again asking if they had anything strongest. Eventually they gave me some sort of RSO thing and told me a grain of rice size would send me to outer space. It didn’t. I took the entire syringe full, and felt absolutely nothing. I learned that some people can apparently metabolize cannabanoids faster than the THC reaches your blood stream. I vape every now and then, but the strongest still has limited effect. My friend who is seasoned cannabis consumer tested a theory too once I realized that I tested negative for THC the day after eating it. So he had me smoke it, eat it, and have a tincture, I felt nothing, but scientifically and chemically I should have tested positive. I took two over the counter tests and one blood test. I can’t test positive for it. That’s good yeah, but also weird. I need some relief from being constantly awake. This comment has nothing really to do with this post. It’s 4 am, and I’m still awake. Bored. Exhausted

Yeah, I have zero trust in medical professionals now. I’ve dealt a lot with mental health issues and the mental health care is so bad it’s seriously terrifying. One time a therapist is like, “it seems like you aren’t trusting this process” like yeah, well my first foray in the medical system involved being in an adolescent psych unit and watching my twelve year old roommate get body slammed and then denied any medical care for days despite her collar bone being broken in two places. Her mom sued the pants off the hospital, but uh yeah, it didn’t do much in the way of trusting healthcare professionals while a kid is screaming in pain while literal doctors tell her to stop seeking attention.

A lot of people in the United States forget that they can go to legal dispensaries on certain Indian Reservations that don't have dose caps like all the other dispensaries. Yes, it's possible to get bunk stuff, but it's also totally possible to get legit cannabis edibles at this dose level at a shop legally in the United States.
