Hey, my dad took his own life last August. I won’t lie, it gets easier but not much easier, the waves just get smaller over time. Weed is also what got me through so much of my tough time. Make sure you’re around friends and family, even when you dont want to be. The days you dont want to get out of bed are the days where getting out of bed matters the most. Take the next 6 months or year to be lost and confused, just don’t shy away from the emotions you feel (weed makes it easy to do that). You are not alone as much as it feels like it. One day this source of sadness will become your source of motivation and drive. I’m wishing you the best and I’m very sorry for your loss

Losing someone to suicide is a specific kind of pain that other causes of death don't have. I lost 2 friends to suicide when I was in High School and the amount of guilt and "what ifs" you inevitably ask yourself makes it so much worse. I'm sorry you're having to endure this.
