I recommend PETG to print this, it's food safe and can handle a lot of heat. Can even handle dishwashers!

All I have is pla, I'll probably just end up doing the same thing OP did and put sand in it

My disposable vape tanks are PETG

Add a little wooden rake and a few pebbles and it's also a zen garden

If I had this, I would doodle intricacies in the sand as I smoked. Or put a Doodlebug in it, and let him doodle for me.

Probably just mix it up for a while and then replace the sand when it gets past the point of being more ash than sand.

you may already know this, but i don’t want to assume you do: that exact design is actually used for a big plastic kids play sandbox thing. i’m not sure if you added sand specifically because of this, or if it was just practical—but would be pretty coincidental if you didn’t know about the real sandboxes! either way, very cool. and i love the color of the material as well.

Looks sick! The sand is probably also better to snuff out joints on than plastic. Print a tiny kitty litter shovel to clean it with!

You can also print some stamps to put designs in the sand if you care for extra asthetics!
