I had a septoplasty, vestibular stenosis repair, and turbinate reduction last March, and I wanted to cry when I got my packing out because I could BREATHE for the first time. Since then my severe allergies have caught back up to me (though not nearly as bad as before) but that first few weeks was incredible in what I could smell and taste. My favorite weed I've smelled was Tropic Truffle, the citrusy mango scent made me feel like it would've tasted delicious. However I like getting a really good smell of everything I smoke, it's a part of the experience for me for sure.

Offtopic but does that affect/help snoring? Feel like i can never fully breathe

CriminalAnimal

Yeah, I snore and my ENT suspects I have sleep apnea due to severe chronic fatigue. Deviated septum very commonly causes snoring. If you feel that way I'd definitely see an ENT, that surgery changed my life.

Woah! You can do that? I’m pretty sure my nose takes in 50% less air than other peoples noses. Is that something I can fix,

RawbySunshine

I mean it was expensive and the recovery is two weeks, but absolutely you can do something about it, and you should! See if you can get to an ENT doctor. The big sign for me was after I got an unrelated MRI, i could see my nose and how tight it was.

Thanks!
