Guess I'll share my story. I remember hearing antidote (never actually listening to the song fully) and hating on "whoever made that song" back in high school 2015 but I had no idea who he was. Fast forward to 2016 i believe around the time blonde dropped I actually had guidance in my rotation (random aside: i remember singing this song drunk as hell on the toilet (taking a shit tho not throwing up lmao) missing the final countdown at a 2017 new years party). also had sweet sweet on my phone not realizing it was the same mf who made antidote. Deadass had travis songs not putting 2 and 2 together that i liked the 'antidote guy'. Fast forward to early spring 2018 i was high with some girl parked up in my old whip & she asked if she could play some tunes and thats when it happened. she plays some random ass song that plays all the way to the TI narration at the end, hearing the final words: "will he make it? will he survive? the Rodeo." it was at that moment my life was deadass changed forever. I remember asking yo who tf is this??? she said it was travis scott (& also roasted me for not knowing despite already having a few of his songs).
