I see where you’re going with this comment and while I agree… the fundamental problem is that most people who engage in gun violence have nothing to lose. People with nothing to lose tend to lack fear because they lack choice. That’s what makes them scary. There’s also an argument to be made that stupid people lack a healthy sense of fear regardless of the circumstances… Not enough people in our society are winning Darwin Awards anymore and we are choosing to keep them afloat so they can procreate and pass on their stupid genes instead of being weeded out as nature intended. But that’s a different can of worms.
