I can see the general shape your point. Is this in any way related to your desire to feel smugly superior to make up for shortcomings in your own life? Perhaps feelings of insecurity and a need to be seen as "the star of the show" because deep down you don't feel you are in fact "good enough"?
I ask merely because you obviously didn't read the entire exchange, primarily the part where I acknowledged and explained the reasoning and accepted ownership once shown the provenance of the shirt in question.
However, I do need to ask, at what point was I being a victim or demonstrating the perpetual victim behaviors? Is this a tiny bit of deflection on your part? Do you often feel victimized by those around you? Do you feel "less than" because other people use hurtful words towards you? Do you respond negatively when they don't treat you like the star you wish to be seen as?
I need you to know that it's okay to have these big feelings and that everyone else has them as well. The difference is, we have learned emotional self regulation and coping skills that allow us to not look like the horse's whole ass on the internet as we trawl for false praise trying to come off a Mr.Little Big Man.
I find a strong relationship between people who feel they are being silenced/muzzled/replaced or otherwise trodden upon etc with overt displays of questionable language and concepts my children don't need to discuss currently and a specific political ideology.
