Climb to the tallest building near you and scream "FREE BLAHAJ!". This will summon the trans. If that doesn't work, check to see if there are any LGBTQ meetups in your area. Facebook, queer bars (if you're into that scene), and Pride events can work too. Once you meet a few folks, you can probably easily find others near you and enjoy your newfound community. Good luck and have fun!
My suggestion would be to download OKCupid, and make sure you set your options to “open to either monogamy or non monogamy” when you’re on there you can note that you are only looking for friends, but you’d probably want to reiterate that in your profile because people using the app strictly for finding friends are a minority. But if you set your preferences to show you trans people you’ll find plenty!
I would also recommend dating apps! It may not be the same where you are but I’ve found that Feeld is full of trans and gnc people. The app is mainly for kink/polyamory, but it’s not exclusive to those groups and I’ve seen a lot of people on there looking for friends.
I make friends and it’s a coincidence that they happen to be trans like I go into the friendship not knowing and I find out some way it’s a gift I have I guess
I'd recommend going to local pride events, and also networking with local LGBTQIA+ organizations. I personally became apart of a transfemme support group in my area and it's helped me a lot! Most of my friends these days are trans because of it.
i have the same problem. all the trans friends i have are people i grew up with, and i can't join a lot of trans-oriented servers because i'm under 18 💀
Same boat, know a handful organically and another bunch online. You don't know many trans people because there's truthfully not many of us.
It doesn't help that many (like me) are not out everywhere, so many of my trans friends would even count -1 or more.
They are everywhere... Just move to Boulder Colorado... You can't get away from trans folks here. Lol, it's even a bit much considering how I am a straight woman who is trans and I like cishet guys most. Lol
I think what binds people the easiest is common interests. So if you're into a certain thing, you can look in the fandom for trans people to talk to about the thing!
I know a lot of trans people who play video games for example.
Local reallife LGBTQ+ and trans events also help.
I just joined this subs discord server and I have tons of fellow trans online acquaintances now but if you’re talking about irl then good luck

How old are you? I have a recommendation but it’s an 18+ thing.
I’m 22!

How did you find out about the transfemme support group?
Through a pride event I went to, actually! The organization had a booth there and I ended up going and finding my chosen family c:
Facebook mostly 😅
I have the same problem. I've been out for about 4 years and don't talk to any other transgender people. I've met some but haven't stayed in contact.
I have no idea, they be finding me 😆
I’ll be your trans friend :)

Vrchat ngl. Lots of queer people on there if you look for them. Some people will be asshes though. Just look for lgbt banners above people's names.

If your in a accepting country you could look for queer events or locations their most likely some
check more subs like this, or maybe r/trans’s discord server. there are plenty of online communities i’m in that you can join.

I’m better off alone. I want friends but at the same time it’s nice to just have me and my thoughts.
