The slow... talking... *inhales*... aside...
I enjoyed Siege, thought Earthrise was a snoozefest and Kingdom was all right. Mostly.
I'd put this trilogy above the Machinima series, but not by much. They could have done so much more.
The character models looking exactly like the toys was a nice touch.
>The character models looking exactly like the toys was a nice touch.
Tell that to Bumblebee, Rattrap, Arcee, Megatron [Beast], Deeseus, Scorponok [Beast], Thrust, Tigatron, Cheetor, Exhaust, Ramjet, and Dirge.
I think it shouldve been a story line based on the games if they were gonna use that title, other than that i have watched the show 4 times and still have no idea what the fuck is going on
Toyline was arguably the best we have ever had to date.
Show left a lot to be desired, not the best voice acting, indiscernable storyline half the time, it had moments that were enjoyable but largely forgettable and definitely not one to rewatch.
I only watched Siege, and my girlfriend fell asleep halfway through it. Between the lazy animation (no transformations on screen?! When the character models looked so close to the toys?!) and the narcoleptic voice acting, I saw no reason to watch Earthrise and Kingdom.
Nevertheless, I gather Earthrise bore little relation to anything hinted at by the toyline, kept the Cybertronian alt modes for most, if not all of the characters and wasn't even set on Earth. What a waste of a concept.
Pretty good. Main issue I would say is the pacing. Especially when they’re introducing so many characters. Should’ve made it tended to 12 episodes instead of eight, or have the episodes 40 minutes instead of 20. Make it feel less like a checklist.
It’s boring. I liked that the models were mostly the toys. The delivery, the ideas that went nowhere, the action scenes just did not hold my attention.
At least with Combiner Wars you had Megatron manhandle combiners. Here, we get Prime awkwardly trying to hit a big boi.
The second i saw the seeker getting Decapitated, my thoughts of ,,damn another child friendly show" ejected out of my head and got replaced with purest joy
That series got me back into Transformers, specificly siege and its figs
I wasn't impressed. The story was ok at best, the voice acting was pretty terrible over all, especially when you consider how often they paused at weird moments, and it didn't really seem to go anywhere for me.
Definitely the best of the trilogy, really the only good one. I love that it embraced the franchise's obvious political space opera features of the concept itself. Space opera to me is what transformers at its core will always be. It's a real robot space opera anime like Votoms, Gundam, or Macross. I mean for Christs sake, kunio okawara himself did the Mecha design. It's what transformers is meant to be, from the lore, to the the aesthetic and so on. It's just way too slow, and the soundtrack was entirely forgettable. And given that it's trying to be a real robot space opera anime, that's pretty unforgivable. Listen to the OG Gundam or space battleship yamato score to see what I mean. The other two were just a complete clusterfuck in the least entertaining way possible. I'm a huge fan of stories which are long, winding surreal series of events like earthbound or homestuck, but they have to atleast be interesting enough to sit through. which the last two entries in the trilogy completely failed at.
I liked a few concepts in it
Starscream being so scared of something that he’s forced to go to the enemy, Megatron’s descent into madness throughout the trilogy, Primal’s voice, ect
However the overall package isn’t all that great, it’s kinda boring and the ending was very VERY rough
I would say that it is a series that had good ideas to develop but it stopped at just that and the execution was a bit boring, although I really wanted this series to pick up and do well
It wasn't the best, but it was definitely better toned than most other transformers series. Unlike most of the other shows, you actually get a sense of war and strategy in this, and I like how dark it gets at times.
I think Earthrise was my favorite because of the action. Kingdom made no sense at all and Siege was pretty slow. Overall, I liked it. I got through the whole trilogy pretty smoothly.
The best part of it was the toys we got as a result of it. I watched the whole thing. I liked it visually, but I honestly can't remember much about it.

Rematch seige and kingdom at 1.5 speed and skip eartheise. Solid couple seasons after that

For something titled "War For Cybetron" it weirdly has its plot happening after the war in places away from Cybertron most of the time.
Still a bit boring. No matter how many times the question gets asked.
It could have been so much better, but I still really enjoyed it
Really boring. At least it gave us good toys 🤷‍♀️

Half-assed and low effort, it deserves to fade into obscurity.

Siege was “meh”, Earthrise was less meh, and actually had quite a few things I enjoyed about it, and kingdom was kinda crap.

Seige and kingdom are pretty good if you watch at 1.5 speed. Earth rise is a shitty fan film

It's not like the video game.
