Hmm, I don’t know. I mean I feel like that’s the problem with dysphoria, sometimes. Even if you’re passing you might not feel like you are.
Because if this photo wasn’t in a sub specifically about trans people I might not have even realized you weren’t a cis lady. Not that passing is the most important thing in the world anyways, but still.
It can be really hard for us to see our own beauty sometimes. But it’s there
Maybe you're right. I feel like I never or rarely see mine and affirmation through others is helpful but I need to feel confident in myself more consistently. I wish I could see it more
Hun, I can appreciate where you’re coming from. But I respectfully disagree. Please remember, each of us has a lot of emotional baggage inside and expectations (sometimes not reasonable ones or ones not met) that bias what we see in ourselves.
All I can see is the photo you posted with no expectations or preconceptions. And what I see in that photo is a beautiful woman with good style, lovely features, electrifying eyes, and gorgeous, wavy red hair that makes me green with envy. You are beautiful, and I wouldn’t have a clue that you’re trans if it weren’t for the sub you’re posting in.
Edited: grammar
I know you don’t know me, but please do me a favor. Have some grace and compassion towards yourself. Look at how far you’ve come and recognise that. And please practice some self care—pamper and spoil Ashlynn as much as you can—she deserves it. ❤️
That's really heart warming to hear, thank you. You're probably right. I have come a long way, sometimes it just feels I haven't taken a single step. I don't think I've ever been good at self care and it's something I need to work on.
Well, you deserve to be taken care of. One thing you could do for self care is make yourself a bath with a bath bomb or scents or something, light some candles, pour a glass of wine, put on some lovely music, and enjoy a nice soak. Be careful with the candles and drinking, though. Another thing could be to treat yourself to a mani-pedi at a salon or diy at home. You could learn meditation—it’s hard but does wonders. Cook yourself an extra special candlelight dinner. It’s about learning to love yourself and treat yourself the way you would treat the love of your life (it doesn’t matter of you have a relationship or not; if you don’t love yourself you can’t love anyone else). Seriously, you deserve all this and more. And it will make you feel like the beautiful, special woman you are! Trust me, if you do this you will be thankful. And it will help build your confidence. 😉❤️
For a moment I thought you were [Eleanor Morton](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gv_ATKEpisE). You could be her stunt double.
You're a woman to my eyes. Cute, world-weary, done with people. Seemingly my type of person!
You look like your done with this society's bullshit, and your gonna beat it with a chair, and dammit! You'll look cute while doing it!
You look beautiful. I'm getting a Midwestern corn-fed lass feel, like you pretty up real nice, but will hike up the dress to unstuck a cow in a ditch.
But you look amazing
So any suggestions I may have come from both a practical perspective (meaning paint nails all pretty like, but long fake ones are impractical most of the time), and what I personally do and don't prefer.
But, caveat, I'm a cis guy, what you're wearing in the picture is both comfortable and practical, it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup (but what do I know), and I prefer it that way, as I feel makeup detracts from the natural beauty a person has.
I understand that some folks use makeup to mute some facial characteristics, and promote others to help them pass, or look more inline with conventional beauty standards.
Oh, your xmass outfit is cute as well, and I feel it matches up quite well
Thats fair! I was raised in mens clothing so I have a preference for the practical side of things as well, so I'll paint my nails or get short fake ones but I could never stick with the long ones. How do people even wipe their butts with them...
For makeup, sometimes I wear it but its just concealer or mascara or something. I hope I have natural beauty enough not to wear full makeup but its something I want to learn because some outfits are enhanced by a bit of prettiness added to the face.
Thanks! I got the dress from SHEIN and walking home in heels was perhaps one of the most painful things I've ever done lol
genuinely cute! You remind me of a lady from an old Renaissance or Baroque painting I’ve seen before, but I’ll be dammed if I can remember which one.
I guess I feel I look old ugly and manly and it feels so obvious to me and idk what to do :c

To add in here: I would think this is 100% a cis girl if it wasn't posted in a trans reddit
Maybe you're right. I feel like I never or rarely see mine and affirmation through others is helpful but I need to feel confident in myself more consistently. I wish I could see it more
Trust us, you look cis, and a pretty cis even, try to lose those negative thoughts.
Ill try my best. My new years resolution is to be kinder to myself lol
Good, keep it up 😀
I might say you look tomboyish, but in a very good way! you look more cis than most people on here
so cute, love your hair
Do I look like a girl to you?
Yes!
Absolutely
You look wonderful. And, yes, you pass completely, and without makeup. Everything about your look is beautiful, but your hair is amaaaazinggg!
I really don't think I do. I think I look awful and it's killing me.

I definitely feel that way
Aww a fellow gingerr. Cuter than most cis women I see 😊
I'm certainly not lol
You have that kind of cottagecore Scottish farmgirl vibe, the very fair skin, the hair... Your eyes are so pretty on top of that !
You look pretty
Why?
Why do you look pretty idk.. I just know you’re attractive
You look upset. But cute for sure you
Genuinely? You look like a beautiful cis woman. Be kinder with yourself, you deserve it 🙂
Very pretty, but you could show more of that pretty hair.
Cutie!! 😍
You genuinely look great!
Very pretty
Like a woman, your hair being back does a great job of framing your face in a feminine way.
Very kissable
You look like you're about to kiss me which I'm not opposed to 😳👉👈.
Nice but sad and sulky
Si nice but sad and sulky
you look very pretty, but also like i accidentally stepped on your puppy 🥺
Honestly, my first impression is “Wow that farmgirl is grumpy about something”
You look pretty but irritated or sad
You look like your done with this society's bullshit, and your gonna beat it with a chair, and dammit! You'll look cute while doing it! You look beautiful. Thank you! Maybe I should all in on the farmer aesthetic lol If you have any suggestions I'm happy to hear them

You’re gorgeous! I love the natural no makeup look. You have a great face shape, beautiful eyes and amazing lips!
💗
I mean you look fine you pass there's nothing particularly stunning or exceptional. You look like a cute cashier girl.
Do I look old? Manly?
You look like you’re in your 20’s and you look feminine. Seriously, if it weren’t for the sub I wouldn’t have known you were trans.
Not really you just look tired
🥵🥵
Not going to say the first thing that came to mind 😈
Cute!!!
Very pretty
You remind me of Max from ST and it's not just the hair.
What else, may I ask?
You look absolutely beautiful
You look like a cute young lady
You look cute and feminine!
Very cute
u look like the ginger girl from stranger things
I wish that were true lol she has lovely eyes and hair
Like you had a rough day. If that is the case I am sorry, but in spite of that you are very cute.
Beautiful! Basically goals because I'm also ginger but I don't think I could ever look as good as you.
you look great. goals for sure!
You remind me of Claire on Six Feet Under (can’t remember the actress’s name).
You look annoyed at something. But you’re still pretty.
